‘Don't forget me': Kpop star and actor Cha Eunwoo set for enlistment

July 28, 2025 SEOUL – Cha Eunwoo of Astro recently bid fans farewell ahead of his enlistment in the military, asking them not to forget him. He begins his mandatory military service on Monday as a member of the Army marching band. He thanked fans through From, an online communication platform, telling them he has been doing well. 'I will miss you a lot, won't I?' wrote Cha, admitting that it still feels surreal. The singer and actor asked fans not to forget him and mentioned that he has an album, a movie and a TV show that will be released during his absence. Though the Netflix show, 'The Wonder Fools,' and the movie, 'The First Ride,' are set to premiere soon, the release date of the album is yet to be announced. Cha Eunwoo held a solo concert in June and fan meetups in July, both in Korea and Japan.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 — Korean American actress Arden Cho is currently in Malaysia. Cho who was most recently the lead voice actress of the Netflix's smash hit KPop Demon Hunters, was spotted at Malaysia Bridal Fashion Week with her unnamed fiancé, dressed in a lavish white gown as a guest of The Gown Atelier. Coincidentally Cho recently got engaged this year so the timing of the event couldn't be better. The actress has been busy on social media posting various collabs with K-pop artists such as Le Sserafim and ASTRO's Cha Eunwoo. The actress has also starred in other big Netflix shows such as Partner Track and the live version of Avatar the Last Airbender. Cha Eunwoo to drop solo set after enlisting: report

Cha Eunwoo of Astro has completed a solo album and shot a music video last week, according to local media reports Tuesday. The album will be fronted by two main tracks and will be released in September, after he enlists on July 28. He will serve his mandatory military duty as a member of the Army marching band following basic training. Last week, he thrilled fans with solo fan meetups held in Seoul and Tokyo. Under the title 'The Royal,' he staged a series of performances, including a solo song that has not yet been released. He also tried dances for 'Soda Pop,' from the Netflix hit animation 'KPop Demon Hunters.' The singer and actor put out his first solo EP, 'Entity,' in February 2024, selling over 210,000 copies in the first week.
