Synopsis Minister of State for Telecom Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani on Friday directed BSNL circles in UP, Bihar, MP, and West Bengal to improve service quality, fix tower power issues, and adopt region-specific marketing strategies. The government aims to boost BSNL's mobile business by 50% and enterprise and fixed-line segments by up to 30% and 20%, respectively. The company had posted a profit after tax of Rs 262 crore in the October-December period of the previous fiscal year.
