What channel is UNC-Oklahoma baseball on Monday? Time, TV schedule for NCAAT rubber match Here's all the broadcasting information you need to know for Monday's Chapel Hill Regional Final. UNC will play Oklahoma for a spot in the Super Regionals. The North Carolina Tar Heels failed to close out their Chapel Hill Regional on Sunday night against Oklahoma, losing 9-5 and now facing elimination in a winner-take-all game later Monday. Aidan Haugh struck out six Sooners (38-21) on the mound for UNC (44-13), but struggled with control and walked four more. It took Haugh – North Carolina's number three starter – 102 pitches to get through 3 2/3 innings. The Diamond Heels struggled big-time in the field. UNC fielders committed just two errors, but those led to four unearned runs for Oklahoma. Sooner pitchers kept North Carolina in the game, particularly late, but the Diamond Heels couldn't score once with bases loaded – and no outs – in the eighth inning. We don't know when UNC and Oklahoma will play on Monday yet, but given it's a winner-take-all matchup, there's a strong possibility the Boshamer Stadium lights will be on. North Carolina wants ace Jake Knapp on the mound, but pitching him on two days' rest wouldn't be a great idea. The same goes for the Sooners, who'll want ace Kyson Witherspoon on the mound, but both programs want their aces fresh for potential Super Regional berths. Regardless of who the Diamond Heels throw out there Monday, they can't combine for nine walks, which proved to be a huge difference-maker in Sunday's loss. Oklahoma pitchers only walked five UNC batters – and, while it almost proved costly late, Oklahoma's pitchers regained control to escape jams. The Diamond Heels replaced their entire starting outfield, sport a new-look bullpen and generate their offense from small ball. Oklahoma can hit, just like North Carolina, but lacks the starting pitching in comparison. The Sooners' bullpen has a slight advantage, though, with Monday's game shaping up to be a bullpen game for both teams. UNC's hitters, outside of Gavin Gallaher, need to figure it out or they're going home dejected Monday night. Oklahoma has the momentum and, in an NCAA Tournament already full of upsets, pulls off another one in Chapel Hill. What channel is UNC baseball on Sunday? Time, TV schedule for Chapel Hill Regional Final Here's all the broadcasting information you need to know for Sunday's Chapel Hill Regional Final. UNC will play the winner of Nebraska and Oklahoma. After escaping Holy Cross 4-0 in Friday's Chapel Hill Regional Opener, the UNC baseball team faced a significantly tougher challenge Saturday, facing the Oklahoma Sooners and future first-round MLB Draft Pick Kyson Witherspoon. North Carolina battled some tough pitchers throughout their regular season and the ACC Tournament, but none like Witherspoon, who entered with a 10-3 win-loss record and sub-3.00 earned rune average. The Diamond Heels knew how difficult of a pitcher Witherspoon was to crack, but took full advantage, jumping all over Oklahoma's ace in an 11-5 victory. UNC (44-12) tagged Witherspoon for six runs in the first inning alone – and nine overall. As a result of its latest dominant victory against a quality opponent, North Carolina advanced to its own Chapel Hill Regional Final, in which it will face the winner of Nebraska and Oklahoma (36-21), at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday for a trip to the Super Regionals. The Diamond Heels used a solid combination of small ball and power hitting to conquer Witherspoon early, scoring three of their six first-inning runs on singles. UNC delivered the dagger far down its batting lineup, when designated hitter Sam Angelo blasted a 3-run shot, way beyond the left field wall in Boshamer Stadium. The Cornhuskers (33-28) eliminated Holy Cross on Saturday morning, 4-1, but not without facing some adversity. The Crusaders took a 1-0 lead, thanks to a Sean Scanlon home run in the top of the fifth inning, but never scored again. Nebraska scored twice in the bottom of the fifth, thanks to a 2-run home run from Cayden Brumbaugh, taking a 2-1 lead it never relinquished. The Diamond Heels could very well face the Sooners again tonight, depending on how the Oklahoma-Nebraska game plays out this afternoon. The Sooners are a better team than the Cornhuskers, so whoever UNC plays, I expect another big victory in Chapel Hill tonight.
