Anonymous tip ends in drug discovery, arrest of Slidell group

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — An anonymous tip reporting alleged drug activity in St. Tammany Parish, has led to the arrest of three people. Deputies with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office said they were alerted of drug activity at a Slidell home in the 50000 block of Lillian Road. Investigation ongoing after teen shot, killed in St. James Parish On July 29, Narcotics Division detectives executed a search warrant where they allegedly found: Cocaine 11 total pounds of marijuana A variety of THC edibles Hydrocodone Methylphenidate and alprazolam pills A semi-automatic handgun $3,342 in cash An assortment of drug paraphernalia indicative of street level drug distribution Also in the house were three residents, 65-year-old Charles Garcia, 53-year-old Dawn Frey and 18-year-old Isabella Evans. The three were arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center. According to deputies, Garcia and Frey are facing charges of: Possession with the intent to distribute marijuana Possession with the intent to distribute THC edibles Possession with the intent to distribute cocaine Possession with the intent to distribute hydrocodone Possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance Possession of Alprazolam Possession of a Firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance Transactions involving proceeds of drug transactions Possession of drug paraphernalia Garcia is facing an additional charge of distribution of Marijuana. Evans is facing charges of possession of Marijuana (Over 14 Grams), possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
