Plosser, Policy Hawk Who Led Philadelphia Fed Bank, Dies at 76
Charles Plosser, the former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia who became an outspoken critic of the Fed's easy-money policies following the 2008 financial crisis, has died. He was 76.
He passed away Aug. 14 at the Warner Community Hospice on Amelia Island, Florida, according to a notice on No cause of death was given.
