Just a day before, Bella had joined Kalinskaya on the court following her owner's quarter-final win over Clara Tauson. Amazingly, Bella even has her own US Open credential. The DC crowd absolutely loved Bella's guest appearance - as did fans online as one said: "So adorable!" Another added: "I'm in love…with her dog." One gushed: "This is so cute." Another said: "Just for the dog she deserves to win that title." Kalinskaya, 26, progresses to play Leylah Fernandez, 22, in the finals on Sunday in her bid to win her first WTA singles title. "She is such an angel, she behaved so good during my matches. She had some practice during preseason but now we see that hard work during my matches, she's very patient.'

A WIMBLEDON tennis star revealed she met her boyfriend at a coffee shop in London. The American was ejected from Wimbledon this year following a one-sided loss to Iga Swiatek in the third round, where she briefly forgot the rules. Despite never advancing past the fourth round in the ladies' singles, she did reach the semi-finals of the women's doubles event in 2022. Collins, 31, had her best Wimbledon run last year, making it to the second week before being ousted by eventual champion Barbora Krejcikova. The world No. 54 has experienced plenty of disappointment at the All England Club, having competed at Wimbledon eight times. However, her 2024 loss to Krejcikova came with an unexpected bonus. After the match, Collins visited a nearby coffee shop before returning to the United States. There, she met Bryan Kipp, a former college athlete, and they started dating shortly after. Men's star Carlos Alcaraz has opened up on the difficulty of maintaining a relationship as a tennis star. But Collins and her beau are still together, with Kipp recently seen supporting Collins at the Charleston Open. During the tournament, Collins spoke about their serendipitous meeting in London in a frank interview with the Tennis Channel (via the Daily Express). STUTTGART, Germany — Third-ranked Jessica Pegula cruised into the quarterfinals of the Porsche Grand Prix with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Magdalena Frech on Thursday. Pegula, who won the Charleston Open title this month, needed just 59 minutes to oust her Polish opponent at the indoor clay-court tournament. The third-seeded American will next face Ekaterina Alexandrova in a rematch of their Charleston semifinal. Alexandrova advanced by beating sixth-seeded Mirra Andreeva 6-3, 6-2.
