Charly Arnolt: It's Unbelievable That This Is The Hill Maine's Governor Wants To Die On
UFC Reporter Charly Arnolt joins Fox Across America With guest host Joe Concha to give her take on Maine Governor Janet Mills' ongoing legal battle with the Trump administration over her state allowing trans athletes compete in girls' sports. 'This is such a loser issue for Democrats, and that's why so many Democrats now have started to distance themselves from this issue post-election. The fact that Trump took such a strong stance on it allowed him to gain much more support than people ever imagined. And it's just unbelievable that this is the hill that Governor Mills wants to die on. I mean, it has been proven, it's an 80-20 issue. This is such an even fringe issue for Democrats now. And to think that she would want to put the emotions, the well-being, the success over what she's saying two trans athletes, I don't know if that's the exact number and maybe she's underestimating, who knows? But the fact that she'd want to put the few emotions of just a small number of trans athletes above the emotions and the well-being of the thousands upon thousands of young female athletes in that state is absolutely wild to me. And I think it really is interesting in the fact that she was boasting about her political background when she went on to say, you know, I have fought tirelessly for the rights of women and girls, for the health and wellbeing of children and families and defending the constitution of Maine, the constitution of the United States. We will vigorously defend our state against action announced today from the Department of Justice. It's like, she's bragging about having this great past where she fought for the rights of women and girls, but suddenly she's doing the complete opposite. I mean, this woman's a walking contradiction.' Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
