New bus service coming to Milwaukee, with daily routes to Madison and Chicago

A new, daily bus route will stop in downtown Milwaukee along its journey between Chicago and Madison. Beginning this summer, GOGO Charters will debut its Midwest Charter Network, providing daily service between the cities, plus three other stops along the way, a news release from the company said Wednesday. Fares will start as low as $10 but may cost more, depending on trip length and availability, Jonathan Schneider of GOGO Charters told the Journal Sentinel. More information and bus schedules will be released closer to when the route debuts, Schneider said. The Midwest Charter Network will also include routes between Chicago and Indianapolis, Chicago and Detroit, Indianapolis and Columbus, Columbus and Cleveland, and Cleveland and Detroit. Each route will include stops along the way. "Anchored in key Midwest population centers, the network will encircle the region and provide daily charter bus transportation to millions of potential passengers," GOGO Charters said in the release. "With luxurious motorcoaches departing daily, travelers will soon enjoy a refined, convenient, and connected alternative for regional travel." More information can be found at or on the GOGO Charters app available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The new daily route will stop in the these locations: Chicago: Renaissance Chicago Downtown, 1 W. Upper Wacker Drive Waukegan, Illinois: Waukegan Station, 95 N. Spring St. Milwaukee: Milwaukee Marriott Downtown, 625 N. Milwaukee St. Sun Prairie: Sun Prairie Park and Ride, 2751 O'Keeffe Ave. Madison: The Madison Concourse Hotel, 1 W. Dayton St. GOGO Charters is a ground transportation services company that offers a variety of charter buses, mini-buses and motorcoaches for reservation nationwide. Daily, non-reservation-based services like the Midwest Charter Network are more regionally based, Schneider said. The company said it plans to introduce "several new routes across American cities" in 2025. GOGO said passengers can expect "modern buses" with amenities like reclining seats, Wi-Fi and on-board restrooms. Passengers can use the app to book e-tickets and view real-time trip-tracking.
