A video showing the son of a BJP Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) arguing with a traffic constable in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras has gone viral. The incident, which was filmed by passerby as well as the constable, began after the officer asked the man to move his vehicle from a busy road. During the exchange, the traffic cop slammed the man for his manners and said he was twice as footage shows a heated exchange between the constable and the son of BJP MLC Chaudhary Rishipal Singh, Tapesh. The confrontation began after the constable requested that a Scorpio, which had a "BJP MLA" sticker and a party flag on the bonnet, be moved because it was obstructing responded aggressively, telling the constable to "get out of my face." An armed guard was also present in the vehicle at the the viral video, the constable can be heard accusing Tapesh of causing a traffic jam and disrespecting him. "You are defaming your father's name," the constable says in the clip. He said he was "twice as educated" as the BJP leader's son and says he knows how to speak with Additional Superintendent of Police, Ashok Kumar, has confirmed that the police are aware of the video. He stated that an investigation into the incident is underway and that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.- Ends

A heated exchange ensued between them after MLC Chaudhary Rishipal Singh's son Tapesh's car blocked traffic on a busy road and despite that, he misbehaved with the traffic policeman. The video shows 'vidhayak" written on the vehicle's windshield, a BJP flag on its bonnet and a gunner accompanied the BJP leader's son. The SUV was allegedly parked on the road which blocking traffic on the busy road, prompting the constable to intervene. The Traffic cop approached the car and asked the driver to move it. The MLC's son allegedly responded with 'bhaag yahan se" (get lost) which angered the cop. Soon after a heated altercation followed. The traffic cop aid, " I am 55 years old and you are saying 'bhaag yahan se"? The MLC's son replied, 'You are 55 years old, that's why I am showing respect." The traffic cop told the man he was creating a traffic jam. The MLC's son said in response," You should speak properly. You are damaging the department's reputation. I am talking to you nicely. Traffic Cop further, 'If you had spoken nicely, this situation would not have arisen." The traffic cop who recorded the entire argumnet on his mobile, also warned Tapesh that he would put this video on Facebook and said, 'I am more educated than you. I know how to talk. You are misusing power." The MLC's son then nodded, whispered something before his care moved ahead. The constable later said the MLC's son had refused to introduce himself and misbehaved with him.
