Banking hub opens as Sherborne's last bank prepares to shut
A banking hub has opened ahead of the closure of a town's last remaining bank hub in Sherborne has opened up in the former Natwest branch at 50 Cheap Street ahead of the permanent closure of Lloyds on 75 Cheap Street on 7 banks at the hub work on a rotating basis, with five different banks available each day through the banking hub, owned by not-for-profit company Cash Access UK and operated by the Post Office, is open from 09:00 to 17:00 on weekdays. It also has an external cash machine.
The hub can be used to pay in and withdraw cash/cheques on any week day, but customers can only book appointments with the respective bank consultants on their allocated day.
