Swans to face Cheltenham in pre-season
Swansea City will go to League Two side Cheltenham Town for a pre-season friendly on Wednesday, 23 July (19:00 BST).The Robins, who are managed by Welshman and former Newport County boss Michael Flynn, finished 15th in the fourth tier last Cheltenham trip is the third pre-season fixture announced by Sheehan's side will meet League One Stevenage in Spain on 19 July before a visit to another third-tier club, Exeter City, on July 26.

Midfielder Kinsella signs new Cheltenham deal

Ex-Wrexham and Newport defender Tozer retires

Barnet release four players following title win
Ben Coker featured 31 times during Barnet's successful season [Rex Features] Barnet's plans for their return to League Two next season have continued to take shape after they released their retained list. The National League champions, who announced manager Dean Brennan's new three-year deal on Saturday, have confirmed experienced Ben Coker will leave the club along with fellow defenders Reece Hall-Johnson and Richard Nartey and midfielder Harry Chapman. Barnet have taken up options to keep their two top scorers, 18-goal Callum Stead and midfielder Mark Shelton, who netted 12 times, plus midfield pair Anthony Hartigan and Zak Brunt. New deals have been offered to Idris Kanu, plus defenders Danny Collinge and Adebola Oluwo. And the club are in talks over fresh terms with goalkeeper Giosue Bellagambi, defender Jordan Cropper and midfielder Billy Clifford. Defender Joe Kizzi, midfielder Jermaine Francis and attacker Finley Wilkinson are all available for transfer. Meanwhile, on-loan goalkeeper Owen Evans and forward Dom Telford will return to parent clubs Cheltenham Town and Barrow. In a message to those leaving after being part of his title-winning squad, manager Brennan said: "I'd like to thank you all for what you have achieved this season. 102 points is an incredible feat and you all played a part in getting there. "You are all legends of the club and will always be welcome."

Cheltenham Town: Five to leave as club confirms 2024-25 retained list
Five players will leave Cheltenham Town once their contracts expire next month after the club confirmed its 2024-25 retained list. Goalkeepers Max Harris and Owen Evans, midfielders Tom Pett and Brandon Liggett and striker Ryan Bowman are set to depart. Meanwhile goalkeeper Joe Day, defenders Ryan Haynes and Tom Bradbury and midfielders Liam Kinsella and Freddy Willcox have been offered new deals. Defender Sam Stubbs, midfielder Timothee Dieng, winger Ethan Williams and forward Ashley Hay return to Bradford City, Gillingham, Manchester United and Brentford respectively, following their loans. Cheltenham finished the campaign 15th in League Two, losing just one of their last five games and winning three.
