The Madras High Court has ordered production company Bobby Touch Gold Universal Private Limited to respond to a petition filed by actor Ravi Mohan alleging breach of the film contract. Ravi Mohan has filed a lawsuit seeking ₹9 crore in compensation for the loss he suffered, as he had signed a contract to act in two films, but the shooting did not start as scheduled. Ravi Mohan cites loss due to delayed shoot despite call sheet As per News 18, in the petition, Ravi Mohan alleged that despite being allotted a call sheet of 80 days from January to March 2025, no shooting of any kind had commenced, and that he had lost opportunities in other films due to this. He then stated that even though time was allotted from March to June, the contract automatically expired as the project did not progress, and that he therefore withdrew from the project. Seeks ban on film release and ₹9 crore compensation Furthermore, when the producer was notified, a notice was sent to return the advance payment of Rs. 6 crore. In this context, the petition also requests a ban on the sale and release of films produced by the company, including 'Chennai City Gangster'. However, all hell broke loose when they accidentally misplaced the stash of money. In fear for their lives, both of them join hands with four quirky ex-convicts to conduct a heist.
