Chick-fil-A is rolling out its new fall menu this month, and it's bringing back a fan-favorite drink
There's still plenty of summer left, but Chick-fil-A has already revealed its new fall menu, and it's going to drop well before beach days are over and the first leaves start to turn. Headlining the new menu is the return of the chain's popular Cherry Berry flavor, but this time it's getting a remix as Chick-fil-A's first ever seasonal soda. The new Cherry Berry & Sprite is a fizzy blend of Sprite with cherry, blueberry and cranberry natural flavors. The full Cherry Berry drink collection includes Cherry Berry Lemonade, Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade (a creamy blended drink featuring the smooth Icedream dessert) and the sweet-tea-meets-lemonade Cherry Berry Sunjoy. But the real star of Chick-fil-A's new fall menu is a hearty sandwich that's back by popular demand and going nationwide. The Pretzel Cheddar Club, first tested in Raleigh, North Carolina, stacks lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese and bacon on a buttery toasted pretzel bun, served with a side of creamy Dijon mustard. You'll be able to choose your favorite chicken: classic, spicy or grilled. The test run went so well, we all get to enjoy this new creation. But that's not all. Chick-fil-A is also upgrading its snack game with two new waffle-cut potato chip flavors, modeled after their iconic fries. The Chick-fil-A Sauce Flavored Waffle Chips pack all the tangy, smoky sweetness of the beloved dipping sauce into a crunchy bite. (There's also a classic Original Flavor for purists.) Both chip varieties will be available in-store as sides and catering options and select seven-ounce retail bags will hit shelves in the Atlantic and Southeast regions later this fall.

New fall menu at Chick-fil-A: Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich, Cherry Berry sodas and lemonade
The menu lunches Aug. 18 nationwide for a limited time. 5:08 Fast food fans with an affinity for chicken will soon be flocking to Chick-fil-A to get a taste of its new fall menu. On Thursday, the Georgia-based fast food chain, known for its signature chicken sandwiches, announced the newest iteration joining the menu Aug. 18, a Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich. The sandwich, which was first tested in select markets last spring, features a toasted pretzel bun, lettuce, sliced tomato, cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and a side of creamy Dijon mustard sauce. It comes in three varieties for customers to choose from: original and spicy -- which are both crispy breaded-style filets -- or grilled. Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging for Chick-fil-A, said the company has also leaned into customers' demands for "bold, fun beverages" and will add a twist to its returning Cherry Berry lineup of drinks, which were first introduced last spring. The seasonal soft drinks, which are made with a cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavored base, include Cherry Berry & Sprite, Cherry Berry Lemonade, Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade -- a blend of Chick-fil-A's ice cream dessert, lemonade and Cherry Berry -- and Cherry Berry Sunjoy, the last of which blends sweetened iced tea, lemonade and Cherry Berry. In addition to the limited-time menu, Chick-fil-A is also adding two brand-new Waffle Potato Chip varieties: Original Flavor Waffle Potato Chips, which are classic waffle-cut chips sprinkled with sea salt, and Chick-fil-A Sauce Flavored Waffle Potato Chips, which are flavored to mimic the chain's signature smoky and tangy sauce. "We are always looking for ways to surprise our Guests with new and unique menu offerings, and this year's fall lineup presents even more opportunities for Guests to customize and make them their own," Duncan said in a statement.
