Child seriously injured after being hit by car in Derby
A main road in Derby is closed after a child was hit by a Police said it happened in Mansfield Road, next to Chester Green playing fields, at about 13:30 BST on air ambulance was called to the scene and the child was taken to hospital with injuries that are serious but "not thought to be life-threatening", the force Road is closed between the Coach & Horses pub and the roundabout at Prime Parkway, police said.
