The UK government has opened applications for the Chevening Scholarship and Fellowship programmes. The deadline is October 7. These offer full financial support for a one-year master's degree at any UK university or a specialised professional development course at designated institutions.

Chevening Cyber Security Fellowship
Delivered at Cranfield University, this programme supports professionals in cyber policy and security from government, law enforcement, academia, and industry.
Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence
Hosted at the University of Oxford, this flagship programme develops future changemakers from across sectors including government, civil society, media, and business.
Chevening Science and Innovation Leadership Fellowship
Delivered at University of Oxford, this programme brings together professionals in science, technology, innovation, and public policy.
Chevening South Asia Journalism Fellowship
Delivered at the University of Westminster, this fellowship is tailored for journalists from South Asia, including India, working in political, economic, and business reporting.
The selected candidates will receive email updates about their application status at each step of the selection process. The candidates can also check their status on the online application system by logging in with their registration details.
–Hold British or dual British citizenship (unless you are a citizen of a British Overseas Territory or hold BN(O) and are applying from Hong Kong).
–Hold refugee status in a country not eligible for Chevening. However, if you are a citizen of an eligible country and hold refugee status in another eligible country, you are eligible for a scholarship.
–Are an employee, former employee, or relative of an employee of the UK government, British Embassies/High Commissions, the British Council, or sponsoring UK universities. Employees, former employees, or relatives of an employee of Chevening Partner organisations are eligible to apply, but if the employment took place within the last two years, you cannot receive a Chevening partner award from the organisation from which you work, previously worked, or are affiliated with through relatives.
–Have previously studied in the UK on a UK government-funded scholarship.

The Chevening programme in India is the largest in the world, benefiting over 3,900 scholars and fellows since 1983. Chevening in India is supported by a wide range of government and industry partners with state government partners include Jharkhand, Nagaland, Karnataka, and Uttarakhand. Additional scholarships are given with the support of corporate partners like the Adani Group and TVS Motors.
