ECR celebrates I-Day at Hajipur hq

Patna: East Central Railway (ECR) celebrated the 79th Independence Day at its headquarters in Hajipur on Friday. Chhatrsal Singh, general manager, hoisted the national flag and inspected the marching RPF personnel, scouts and guides on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, he threw light on the achievements of the ECR during the current fiscal 2025-26.
Meanwhile, Danapur divisional railway manager Vinod Kumar hoisted the national flag on his office premises in Khagaul, while ECR women welfare organisation, led by its president Sunita Singh, distributed towel sets, fruits and health drinks among 200 indoor patients at the railway superspeciality hospital in Patna's Karbighaiya on Independence Day, ECR CPRO Saraswati Chandra said.
