Advertisement That same Trojans star fired off a stirring message once he learned his NBA fate. Chibuzo Agbo is one of the newest league rep from the Land of Troy. The San Antonio Spurs picked him up and will give him an NBA Summer League opportunity. Agbo quickly fired off a message via his Instagram stories. He not only screenshot a fan's encouragement, but Agbo posted these five words. The USC Trojans logo at midcourt at the Galen Lee-Imagn Images "Time to turn it up!!!!" the caption under the post read. The USC X account sent its congrats to Agbo. Saying he's "taking it to the next level." Agbo will take his perimeter shooting over to Las Vegas. He's best known for delivering back-to-back 20-point games in November. The San Diego native brings extensive experience to the floor. Advertisement He started his career with Texas Tech, where he played two seasons with the Red Raiders. Agbo saw action in 45 total games but no starts. He transferred to Boise State for two more seasons starting in 2022-23. Agbo started in 33 games for both campaigns. He averaged 11.5 and 13.7 points per game in his two years with the Broncos. Agbo eventually transferred to USC and suited up for Eric Musselman. He went to earn a season-best average of 32.2 minutes per game. Agbo scored 11.8 PPG in his lone campaign for USC. He also shot 39.6% from the field. NBA Summer League games will be held July 10 to 20 inside the Thomas and Mack Center and Pavilion inside the UNLV campus. On Tuesday night, the Trojans opened the tournament in impressive fashion, dominating Tulane en route to an 89-60 victory. The performance was even more impressive given the fact that USC went into the game without two of its starters. Wesley Yates III was spotted on the bench in a walking boot, while Chibuzo Agbo did not play due to an undisclosed injury. With Yates III and Agbo out, Rashaun Agee led the way for the Trojans. He scored 27 points on an incredible 10-of-12 shooting performance from the field. Saint Thomas and Clark Slajchert both also finished in double figures for USC, scoring 14 and 10 points, respectively. The first everCollege Basketball Crown is being held in Las Vegas from March 31 through April 6. It features 16 teams from the Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, American Athletic Conference, West Coast Conference, Mountain West, and Atlantic 10. USC now advanced on to the quarterfinals of the tournament. The Trojans will take on Villanova on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Pacific time.

Agbo leads hot-shooting USC past Washington, eliminating Huskies from Big Ten tourney contention
Chibuzo Agbo scored 26 points shooting 9 for 12 and Desmond Claude recorded a double-double and USC gutted Washington 92-61 on Wednesday night. Agbo tied a career high with seven 3-pointers made in 10 attempts. Claude scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Rashaun Agee scored 13 of his 18 points in the first half. USC (15-15, 7-12 Big Ten) finished 18-for-32 shooting (58%) including 9 for 13 (69%) from 3-point range in the first half. The Trojans didn't slow any after the break and finished 31 for 55 (56%) overall and 15 for 26 (58%) from 3. For good measure, USC made 15 of 16 (94%) from the foul line. Mekhi Mason scored 14 of 19 points in the first half, Great Osobor scored 17 and DJ Davis 13 for Washington. Osobor threw down a dunk with 14:28 left before halftime to give Washington a 12-11 lead. Claude followed with a 3-pointer and that started a 18-4 USC run that lasted almost seven minutes. Agee's 3 gave the Trojans their first double-digit lead at 24-13 with 10:34 left in the first half and they led 47-35 at the break. With the defeat, Washington (13-17, 4-15) is eliminated from the 15-team Big Ten Conference Tournament. USC, Nebraska, Northwestern, Minnesota and Rutgers occupy the last five spots and each are 7-12 in conference. USC ends the regular season on Saturday at UCLA.
