J-Hope Killin' It Girl teaser OUT: BTS member turns to dark theme for collab with GloRilla, watch
J-Hope seems to be turning over a new leaf for his upcoming release, third single Killin' It Girl, and the new teaser has only raised hopes about what awaits. The new song is set for a drop on BTS' 12th debut anniversary day, June 13 and brings on another collaboration for the ARSON hitmaker. He will be working together with GloRilla, known for the chart-favorite Sticky alongside Tyler, The Creator, Sexyy Red, and Lil Wayne. Turning to a black and white theme, the Killin' It Girl music video seems to be nothing like what the BTS member has done before. It's much darker and possibly hard-hitting than his previously light and fun-loving tracks. And while he's no stranger to dark, having explored the other side of his musical mind in the album Jack In The Box, this one is expected to link a possibly complimentary or romantic angle to it. What's the Killin' It Girl teaser about? The music video teaser shows the Chicken Noodle Soup singer lying down in the middle of a street, as businesses run around him. With people hustling and bustling, he sticks out like a sore thumb, and with a twist of a camera comes up on the screen. Eyes up, brimming with dark liner and a tense look in them, this looks like another one of his bangers. J-Hope's Killin' It Girl will hit the screens on June 13 at 1 pm KST (0 am ET, 9:30 am IST), alongside a music video, in which the fans are hoping to see GloRilla in action with the BTS member. On the same day, the rapper is set to conduct day 1 of his HOPE ON THE STAGE FINAL tour, bringing an end to a sold-out series of concerts that began earlier this year. Having toured North America and Asia, the final leg will be held in his homeland of South Korea. It is expected that the other BTS members, Jin, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, will join him on the stage or appear in the audience to support the singer's ending shows. By then, these 5 would have also wrapped up their military service, much like J-Hope himself, gearing up for a full group reunion once SUGA completes his alternative duty on June 21.

J-Hope teases BTS reunion
J-Hope has teased BTS will reunite as soon as their military service is over. The 'Chicken Noodle Soup' hitmaker completed his mandatory 18-month stint of miliary service last October and he's now looking forward to his bandmates all finishing their own service so he can get back together with V, Jimin, RM, Jungkook, Suga, and Jin. J-Hope, who is the second member of the band to have finished his service after Jin, told Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe: 'We will quickly get together and talk about what BTS can do in the future. I think it's going to be a massive energy... 'I look forward to June when our members will have completed their service." All seven members of the group have released solo projects during the band's two-year hiatus and J-Hope thinks it has helped them all establish their own identieis. He said: 'I think that over time, we each refined our unique identities as each of us work on their own music, come out with their solo projects and do their own thing. "The funny thing for me is when our identities, which have taken shape in various ways, come together as BTS. 'I'm curious to see how [the reunion] will look like.' The 'On the Street' singer felt proud of his time in the military and learned a lot from it. He said: 'I think it's only natural for young people in South Korea to take on this responsibility. I thought it was a very important part of J-Hope's, or Jung Ho Seok's, life. "It's a different experience, also, in reality, I've learned a different life. And in many ways, I got to meet people from all walks of life and I received a lot of good energy. And I heard a lot of good things. "But also, you know, a year and a half is actually not a very short time. That bit made me feel a lot of things. In the end, I think the most important thing was I realised how important the work I've been doing for all these years is incredibly meaningful to me.'

BTS' J-Hope opens up about band's reunion post military conscription: ‘We will quickly get together and…'
BTS fans, better known as ARMY, might just be the most patient fanbase in K-pop history. For years, the world-renowned septet has been delighting audiences with their music, choreography, and heartfelt messages. But recently, with a few of the members off on their military enlistments, fans have been eagerly awaiting the moment when all seven members — RM, Suga, V, Jimin, Jung Kook, Jin, and J-Hope — reunite on stage and in the studio once again. Now, J-Hope himself has offered a sneak peek into what that reunion might look like. In a recent clip from his upcoming interview with Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe, which Teen Vogue premiered on April 28, the Chicken Noodle Soup star shared his thoughts on the future of BTS as the members finish up their military service. J-Hope is clearly excited about the upcoming months, especially with his fellow members wrapping up their military duties. 'I look forward to June when our members will have completed their service,' J-Hope shared, hinting that the band's full comeback is just around the corner. And when the final five members – RM, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook – complete their enlistment, J-Hope believes that the BTS reunion will come together quickly. 'We will quickly get together and talk about what BTS can do in the future,' he said, sounding eager to dive back into the group's shared creative energy. 'I think it's going to be a massive energy.' While J-Hope's excitement is contagious, he also reflected on how much BTS has grown individually over the past few years. Each member has used their time apart to work on their own music, release solo projects, and refine their personal identities as artists. And J-Hope believes that this individuality will bring something special to BTS when they reunite. 'I think that over time, we each refined our unique identities as each of us work on their own music, come out with their solo projects, and do their own thing,' J-Hope explained. 'The funny thing for me is when our identities, which have taken shape in various ways, come together as BTS.' It's clear that Hobi sees the reunion not just as a return to old habits, but as an exciting opportunity for the group to combine their newfound experiences into something even more spectacular. As for what the reunion will look like? J-Hope admits he's just as curious as the fans. 'I'm curious to see how it'll look like,' he said, leaving fans with even more excitement about what's to come when BTS officially reassembles. A post shared by jhope (@uarmyhope) J-Hope was the second BTS member to be discharged from the military after Jin, and with the rest of the group expected to return in the coming months, fans are eagerly anticipating the next chapter of BTS's journey. For now, the rapper is on tour with Hope on the Stage which kicked off on February 28 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. The tour will end in June.

J-Hope of BTS Reflects on His Time in the South Korean Military: ‘I've Learned a Different Life'
After spending 18 months in the South Korean military, J-Hope says he is a very different person now that he's back on the streets as a civilian. In an interview with Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe, the BTS star opened up about his time serving his county leading up to the day he was discharged in October. J-Hope is only the second member of the boy band to finish his enlistment, following Jin; RM, Suga, V, Jimin and Jung Kook will return home from the military this June. 'I thought it was a very important part of J-Hope's or Jung Ho-seok's life. After all, I am a proud citizen of South Korea. I love my country. There are things that I cherish in this country.' 'It's a different experience,' he continued. 'Also, in reality, I've learned a different life. And in many ways, I got to meet people from all walks of life and I received a lot of good energy. In the end, I think the most important thing was I realized how important the work I've been doing for all these years is incredibly meaningful to me.' J-Hope, who continued to release solo projects during his enlistment, added, 'Even though I was in the service, I think there was a part of me who never really let go of my love for music.' Their collective service to the military has meant that the members of BTS have been on a break for about two years, last releasing an album in 2020, when Be reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Like Jimin, all of the other Bangtan Boys have also worked on solo releases throughout the band's time away. The break will soon be over, however with J-Hope also teasing on Apple Music 1 that he and his bandmates plan to reunite pretty much as soon as possible. 'We will quickly get together and talk about what BTS can do in the future,' he told Lowe. 'I think it's going to be a massive energy.' Watch J-Hope's full interview with Lowe below.
