J-Hope teases BTS reunion
J-Hope has teased BTS will reunite as soon as their military service is over.
The 'Chicken Noodle Soup' hitmaker completed his mandatory 18-month stint of miliary service last October and he's now looking forward to his bandmates all finishing their own service so he can get back together with V, Jimin, RM, Jungkook, Suga, and Jin.
J-Hope, who is the second member of the band to have finished his service after Jin, told Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe: 'We will quickly get together and talk about what BTS can do in the future. I think it's going to be a massive energy...
'I look forward to June when our members will have completed their service."
All seven members of the group have released solo projects during the band's two-year hiatus and J-Hope thinks it has helped them all establish their own identieis.
He said: 'I think that over time, we each refined our unique identities as each of us work on their own music, come out with their solo projects and do their own thing.
"The funny thing for me is when our identities, which have taken shape in various ways, come together as BTS.
'I'm curious to see how [the reunion] will look like.'
The 'On the Street' singer felt proud of his time in the military and learned a lot from it.
He said: 'I think it's only natural for young people in South Korea to take on this responsibility. I thought it was a very important part of J-Hope's, or Jung Ho Seok's, life.
"It's a different experience, also, in reality, I've learned a different life. And in many ways, I got to meet people from all walks of life and I received a lot of good energy. And I heard a lot of good things.
"But also, you know, a year and a half is actually not a very short time. That bit made me feel a lot of things. In the end, I think the most important thing was I realised how important the work I've been doing for all these years is incredibly meaningful to me.'

Addison Rae's TikTok success 'helped her to get to Los Angeles'
Addison Rae saw TikTok as the perfect launchpad for her career. The 24-year-old pop star developed a huge fan following on the video-sharing app amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and Addison admits that her TikTok success allowed her to pursue her long-term career ambitions. The Diet Pepsi hitmaker - who has turned her focus towards music and acting in recent years - said to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: "I think in the beginning, especially, and starting out, I always knew that I wanted to make music. I always knew I wanted to act. I think I just knew I wanted to perform. That was just something that was really obvious to me since I was a little girl. "When TikTok happened, I was almost like, well, this seems like a really nice way to get myself to Los Angeles first, because I think in Louisiana there wasn't as many opportunities or like possibility, really, to pursue that profession necessarily, unless you just got really, really lucky." Addison previously insisted that she doesn't have any regrets about her career journey. The pop star always dreamed of becoming a success in the music business, but Addison recognises that TikTok has played an important role in her success. She told ELLE: "All of that led me to where I am right now. "What's funny to me is that people assume that these passions are new. First of all, no one ever even knew who I was before I was a freshman in college, so it's like, 'How would you even know what my interests were before?' I grew up dancing; I've always loved to sing. "I acknowledge how lucky I am that I was on TikTok, and people cared enough to watch my videos and follow me, and therefore gave me the freedom to be able to explore my deep desires that I've always had. It's like, 'What am I going to do? Not chase my dreams because I feel like I haven't done enough school to get here? Or I haven't had enough experience?' It's like, 'No, the door opened for me, and I'm going to go through and explore it.'"

Miley Cyrus reveals why she 'needed to fall' before sobriety
Miley Cyrus "needed to fall one more time" to help her sobriety journey. The 32-year-old singer has opened up on her struggles with addiction and how it influenced her hit song 'Flowers', while she acknowledged she isn't "proud" of her actions during that period around 2020's 'Plastic Hearts' album. She told Apple Music 1's 'The Zane Lowe Show': "I know I needed to fall one more time. I just, I had to. It just never would have happened this way. I just never would have been sitting here. "There were times in that section … I'm not proud of them. Definitely not my best moments, not some of my best work, any of that. "But it all led me to writing 'Flowers,' which then was some sort of key right into the lock of all healing.' Miley reflected on how her record 'Endless Summer Vacation' was a game changer for her, and it all came down to her getting clean. She added: "I've learned this about myself over the years. The sobriety is like, that's like my God. "I need it, I live for it. I mean that it's changed my entire life.' 'Flowers' - which dropped in 2023 as the lead single for 'Endless Summer Vacation' - was a huge success, and landed Miley her first ever Grammy Awards for Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year in 2024. She explained: "I think somewhere inside of me, I needed maybe to hold a trophy and just feel for a moment that I have something that I can hold in my hands that feels like a true achievement. 'And so at the Grammys, that's why I went, it was actually for healing.' Due to her performance anxiety and not allowing herself to accept how much she wanted to win a Grammy, she almost didn't turn up to the ceremony - but she's glad she did. Miley said: 'There was somewhere that I was avoiding this, the fact that it did matter to me somewhere. 'And so once I received my Grammy, I was like, look, when you Google me, it says 'Miley Cyrus, a Grammy Award-winning artist.''

Miley Cyrus has 'very large' polyp on vocal cord
Miley Cyrus has a "very large polyp" on her vocal cord but is "not willing" to have it removed in case it changes her voice. The 'Flowers' hitmaker explained the sound of her distinctive low-pitched voice is partly due to both the growth and Reinke's Edema - swelling of the vocal folds due to fluid accumulation - and though the conditions mean she finds it "extremely difficult" to perform, she doesn't want to have surgery in case she no longer sounds like herself afterwards. Speaking on Apple Music 1's 'The Zane Lowe Show', she said: "I had the Reinke's Edema, which is something that is called, it's abuse of the vocal cords. And being 21 and staying up and drinking and smoking and partying after every show does not help. But also in my case, it does not cause it. So my voice always sounded like this. 'It's a part of my unique anatomy, this is what I look like. So I have this very large polyp on my vocal cord, which has given me a lot of the tone and the texture that has made me who I am, but it's extremely difficult to perform with because it's like running a marathon with ankle weights on. So even when I'm talking sometimes, at the end of the day I'll call my mom and she'll go, 'Oh, you sound like you're talking through a radio.' And that's how you know I'm really tired because it creates that ultimate vocal fry... "So my voice is super unique because of it, but I do have this Reinke's Edema and I have this large polyp on my cords and I'm not willing to sever it because the chance of waking up from a surgery and not sounding like myself is a probability…so I'm really torn about it." The 32-year-old star also recalled the "pretty traumatic" time she had when she suffered a ruptured ovarian cyst and battled through the pain to continue with her 2023 TV special 'Miley's New Year's Eve Party' alongside her godmother Dolly Parton. She said: 'I had a pretty traumatic experience on a show that I was doing with [Lorne Michaels] when I was doing my New Year's show. 'I had a medical emergency. I had an ovarian cyst rupture. We didn't know exactly what was going on so we did it. 'It was pretty traumatic because it was extremely excruciating and I did the show anyway. But it was really really hard on me.'
