Patrick Mahomes reveals what he admires the most about wife Brittany

Patrick Mahomes has gushed over his wife, Brittany, as he revealed how she inspires his confident displays on the football field. The Kansas City Chiefs' star man has led the team to three Super Bowl victories in the past five years thanks to his cool, calm and collected demeanor under center. But Chiefs Kingdom may secretly have Brittany to thank for the franchise's recent success as the quarterback revealed he truly gets his drive from her. 'I admire my wife Brittany's confidence,' he told People. 'Whether it's in business, or supporting our family, she always leads with strength and purpose. That kind of confidence is powerful; it pushes me to be better every day.' 'Confidence isn't something that you just wake up with one day,' he added. 'It's about staying committed to your goals, trusting yourself and the people around you and putting your best foot forward with every opportunity you get.' Mahomes and the former college soccer player are childhood sweethearts, beginning to date in 2012 as teenagers. The couple, who stayed strong throughout college despite attending different schools, tied the knot in 2022 in a lavish Hawaiian wedding. They share three children together, Sterling, 4, Bronze, 2, and Golden Raye, who they welcomed in January - just one month before the Super Bowl. And Mahomes admitted that he feels his most confident off the field when he's surrounded by his nearest and dearest. 'Off the field, I'm probably most confident when I'm with my family and close friends. Being around the people who've supported me from the beginning and know me so well—that's when I'm at my best,' the two-time NFL MVP admitted. The signal caller has spent his offseason soaking up quality time with his family as he attempts to rebound from a devastating loss against the Philadelphia Eagles in February. The Chiefs suffered humiliation in New Orleans when they were thrashed 40-22 by Jalen Hurts and co. and had their three-peat dreams crushed. Yet, Mahomes has seemingly brushed off the heartbreak as he has been spotted at multiple events in the months since, including the Women's College World Series where he cheered on Texas Tech - his alma mater - alongside Brittany. Meanwhile, he was also seen alongside favorite target and close friend Travis Kelce when the pair wowed the crowd at the Big Slick, an annual charity event that raises money for Children's Mercy, a local pediatric hospital last month.

Kansas City Chiefs FB Carson Steele reintroduces 'Crocky J' to the world

Kansas City Chiefs FB Carson Steele reintroduces 'Crocky J' to the world Chiefs Kingdom was reintroduced to Kansas City Chiefs fullback Carson Steele's pet and long-time friend, Crocky J, via social media. In a recent Instagram post, Steele is holding his pet alligator, which has grown considerably. "He (Crocky J) kind of represents me, especially a kid from the Midwest coming to L.A. with blond hair. (It) doesn't look like he should be from Indiana, you know?" Steele said during his interview with the Los Angeles Times last summer. "Might as well throw in an alligator." The former UCLA Bruins standout made the most of his invite opportunity to camp in 2024 after going undrafted and immediately leaving an impression on his teammates and coaching staff. Last season, Steele ran for 183 yards on 56 carries, splitting time as the lead running back and fullback. He had fumbling issues to start the year, and after the signing of veteran Kareem Hunt, he saw his snaps limited for the rest of the campaign. It's good to see Crocky J doing well as the Chiefs' OTAs continue this offseason.
