Launch of a National Initiative to Support and Protect Juvenile Offenders

The This is My Homeland Network for Supporting and Protecting Juvenile Offenders organized a ceremony at the Al-Mahari Hotel in Tripoli to announce the launch of a national initiative aimed at protecting and rehabilitating juvenile offenders, under the slogan '122 No – Defending Children's Dignity'.
The event was attended by child welfare specialists, members of the judiciary, representatives of human rights organizations, civil society institutions, and the education sector.
The program featured a visual presentation highlighting the suffering of juvenile offenders inside reform and rehabilitation institutions, as well as the psychological and social challenges they face.
Several projects adopted by the network to rehabilitate and reintegrate these children into society were also presented. During the ceremony, prominent figures who have contributed to supporting and protecting children and juvenile offenders were honored. The event also marked the official announcement of the network's establishment, chaired by Mr. Al-Hadi Shaqlouf. News Tagged:
