Stray Kids launch K-pop takeover at Oracle Park in San Francisco
The streets around Oracle Park morphed into a mini K-pop bazaar ahead of South Korean boy band Stray Kids' first stadium concert in the Bay Area. Thousands of fervent fans began converging on the home of the San Francisco Giants well before sunrise on Wednesday, May 28, camping out for a chance to see the global K-pop sensation perform later tonight. Many even lined up for hours to secure official merchandise at Bar Via, a nearby cocktail lounge, which was transformed into a pop-up shop selling band gear. The concert, part of Stray Kids' DominAte world tour, is expected to be a more than two-hour spectacle featuring fireworks, synchronized choreography and a 30-song set list. The tour is in support of Stray Kids' latest album, 'Skzhop Hiptape,' released in December. It kicked off with a historic performance at Seattle's T-Mobile Park on Saturday, May 24, where the group became the first K-pop act to sell out the stadium.
