Krispy Kreme style Crocs. How to get the doughnut-inspired shoe, along with a free treat
Food and fashion collide with a collaboration from the Krispy Kreme and Crocs brands. They're talking shoes, charms and free doughnuts. The limited-edition Krispy Kreme Crocs Classic Clog is inspired by the doughnut chain's Original Glazed and other treats. The $90 shoe, which comes in adult sizes, includes oversized Original Glazed doughnut and Krispy Kreme Hot Light Jibbitz charms, a pivoting heel strap with the Krispy Kreme logo and two interchangeable toe caps — chocolate and strawberry icing with sprinkles — that can be swapped out. A five-pack of Jibbitz charms featuring two doughnuts, a dozens box, a Krispy Kreme paper hat and the Krispy Kreme logo is available for $20. Sales begin Aug. 5 at Crocs stores and Guests at Krispy Kreme stores can scan in-shop QR displays to order on August 4. The doughnut chain also will serve up specialty Krispy Kreme x Crocs dozens, featuring Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles doughnuts. The assorted dozen boxes of doughnuts will be available at Krispy Kreme shops July 30-August 10 while supplies last. Those wearing any style Crocs on August 9 can get a free Original Glazed doughnut.

McDonald's will no longer offer Krispy Kreme doughnuts: Find out the end date
McDonald's will no longer offer Krispy Kreme doughnuts at its chain restaurants starting in July, ending the partnership between the two companies earlier than expected. The companies announced they were wrapping up their partnership Tuesday, calling the joint effort "unsustainable" despite it being a "strong collaboration." "We had strong collaboration with Krispy Kreme and they delivered a great, high-quality product for us, and while the partnership met our expectations for McDonald's and Owner/Operators, this needed to be a profitable business model for Krispy Kreme as well," McDonald's USA's Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Alyssa Buetikofer said in a statement. In March 2024, McDonald's had said it would add three of Krispy Kreme's most popular doughnut flavors -- Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles and Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled -- to its menus, with a full rollout expected by the end of 2026. Overall, Krispy Kreme said it had distributed its sweet treats to about 2,400 McDonald's restaurants, according to Krispy Kreme CEO Josh Charlesworth. "Ultimately, efforts to bring our costs in line with unit demand were unsuccessful, making the partnership unsustainable for us," Charlesworth said in a statement. Customers can get their Krispy Kreme fix at McDonald's until July 2.
