'When Life Gives You Tangerines' is up for several awards, including Best Drama. In just one day k-drama fans will find out which Korean drama and actor takes home the prize at the Blue Dragon Series Awards. The series awards, a spinoff of the annual Blue Dragon Film Awards, was launched in 2022 in response to the growing global streaming market. The awards ceremony will feature a variety of presenters, including actors Park Bo-young, Yim Si-wan, Go Youn-jung, Ahn Eun-jin and Jeon Do-yeon. Choo Young-woo Reflects On Reuniting With Cho Yi-hyun For Head Over Heels
Last Updated: Choo Young-woo shared how he built a strong connection with Cho Yi-hyun while filming Head Over Heels and revealed insightful things they learned about each other during the shoot. If you're looking for a new Korean drama to dive into, Head Over Heels is currently generating a lot of buzz. The series stars Cho Yi-hyun and Choo Young-woo, reuniting after their previous collaboration in the 2021 drama School 2021. In a recent interview, Young-woo opened up about reconnecting with Yi-hyun on set and shared some surprising and heartfelt insights they discovered about each other while filming Head Over Heels. Revealing his connection with Cho Yi-hyun, Choo Young-woo, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, said, 'I think working on this project brought us even closer. We used to mostly have small talk, but since we spent so much time together this time, our conversations became more casual and personal, like what we ate, whether we got enough sleep, or how we were feeling." When asked about what new things they discovered about each other while filming Head Over Heels, Choo Young-woo shared, 'I found out that Yi Hyun is extremely careful. She's the kind of person who wouldn't cross a bridge without tapping it first." He also revealed that on his phone, she is saved simply as Yi Hyun. Later in the interview, Choo Young-woo was asked what Cho Yi-hyun might be doing if she were living a secret life outside of acting. His playful response revealed that Yi-hyun has recently been very into gaming. He joked that if she weren't an actress, she could make a great professional gamer. Taking it a step further, he even suggested a name for her gaming alter ego, Seong A, inspired by the character she plays in Head Over Heels. When asked how he would like to meet his soulmate and if he'd risk his life for them, Choo Young-woo said that no matter how it happens, meeting someone you truly love feels like fate. And if he ever met someone like that, he believes he would be ready to risk his life for them. As per the official synopsis, 'Park Seong-A (Cho Yi-hyun) is a high school student by day and a shamaness by night. She feels stuck in a rut until she comes across handsome transfer student Bae Gyeon-U (Choo Young-woo). Gyeon-U is exceptionally good-looking, but suffers from an unlucky fate. In Seong-A's shaman vision, Gyeon-U is upside down, indicating that his death is imminent. Seong-A falls head over heels in love for Gyeon-U and vows to save his life."
