Charity to host curry night and pamper evening to support vulnerable people
A charity is hosting fundraising events in support of vulnerable people.
Community Solutions North West has announced a charity curry night, pamper evening, and social night, all taking place this autumn.
Funds raised will support the charity's work to tackle social isolation and improve wellbeing through befriending, mentoring, mental health support, and community activities.

Chris Emmerson, chief operating officer at Community Solutions North West, said: "These events are a great opportunity for the community to come together, have a good time, and raise funds that will directly support people across Hyndburn.
"Whether you're enjoying a curry, getting pampered, or letting your hair down at Tipsy Cows, every ticket sold helps us continue our work."
The charity curry night will be held on September 18 at Anarkali Indian Restaurant in Haslingden.
This will be followed by a pamper evening at Elmfield Hall in the church on September 25 and run by Tropic's Louise Magee.
The final event, a charity night at Tipsy Cows in Great Harwood, will take place on October 8.
The events come as the charity prepares for major renovations at Elmfield Hall, a Grade II-listed Victorian building.

Plans include replacing 21 windows, installing a wheelchair-accessible lift, and reconfiguring the interior to improve accessibility and energy efficiency.
The work will be funded by a £435,446 grant from the Community Ownership Fund, awarded in January.
