RestoMods has taken viewers inside the cockpit of its latest giveaway car — a 1967 Camaro RestoMod packing a supercharged LSX engine rated at 1,000 horsepower — with the release of a new ride-along video.
The footage, posted as part of the company's RM31 giveaway campaign, features head mechanic Chris Esparza behind the wheel, demonstrating how the build blends modern power with everyday usability. While the car's aggressive acceleration and exhaust note dominate the first impressions, Esparza emphasizes that comfort and control were just as important as raw performance in the design.
Finished in tuxedo black, the Camaro rides on Boze Forged Synchro wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888R tires. Under the hood, a Whipple-supercharged Wegner LSX V8 sends power through a T56 manual transmission to a fabricated Ford 9-inch rear end, supported by a Chassisworks rear four-link suspension and front subframe. Stopping power comes from Wilwood brakes at all four corners, while a carbon-fiber driveshaft and roll cage round out the performance upgrades.
Inside, the car features houndstooth Recaro seats, Sparco belts, and modern conveniences such as Restomod Air A/C, a Holley LCD dash, and TMI custom panels. Esparza notes that despite its track-ready specification, the Camaro could function as a daily driver — a point RestoMods highlights in encouraging entries for the sweepstakes.
One entrant will take home the car along with $50,000 in cash. The RM31 giveaway is open now, with details, rules, and entry information available at The full ride-along video and technical build sheet can also be viewed on the site, offering enthusiasts an up-close look at one of the most potent restomod Camaros ever built.
