We're only a few days into August, and yes – we're already talking about this year's beauty advent calendars. But there's good reason. Last year, many of the most coveted and best value options sold out quickly. The Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar, for example, disappeared swiftly after its official launch in September, while the retailer's 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar sold out during the pre-order period, making them some of last year's most sought-after Christmas countdowns.
Luckily for us, Harrods has just opened its pre-orders on Tuesday 5 August. Yes, we know it's early, but if you don't want to miss out on an unbeatable luxurious countdown to Christmas, we'd snap yours up now.
The 2025 Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar is one of the most sought-after calendars, packed with luxury products at a much lower price. Luxury brands such as La Mer, Augustinus Bader, MZ Skin, Sisley, Hourglass, and more feature, making this an excellent chance to try a wide range of high-end beauty products.
It features a total of 32 indulgent items, including 14 full-size products. Highlighting some of the year's most sought-after launches, cult favourites, and celebrity beauty secrets, it offers everything from skin-soothing serums to restorative face masks, transformative make-up to aromatic essentials.
Price-wise, nothing has changed – this year's calendar costs £250 (the same as what it was in 2024). However, it now comes with a huge 32 items, which is seven more than last year's version. The calendar works out at just £7.80 per product, which is an absolute bargain considering the popular La Mer's Créme de la Mer inside costs £85 alone, and the most expensive product costs a whopping £110.

The MZ SKIN Soothe & Smooth Hyaluronic Brightening Eye Complex, which is worth an astonishing £110, has been described by shoppers as "magically effective", and "life changing". Using tri-peptides to stimulate collagen and elastin, it works to tackle fine lines and wrinkles and reduce dark circles and puffiness, and it costs almost half the price of this entire beauty advent calendar. Another premium skincare pick is the full-size Medik8's Crystal Retinal 6, worth £69 for a 30ml tube. This award-winning formula promises to visibly smooth stubborn wrinkles, brighten dark spots, and decongest and firm the skin. Joining the beauty advent calendar line-up is The Harrods 12 Days of Hair & Body Advent Calendar – a more budget-friendly option. This year's edition has nine full-size heroes, such as Ouai's Hair Gloss and Chāmpo's Pitta Growth Serum, aimed to nurture you from head-to-toe. It even includes a voucher for your next blow-dry from Drybar.
Alongside this, the luxury department store has also launched this year's The Harrods 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar. Perfect for fragrance fans, it features 12 perfumes for £215, including seven full-size fragrances and four Harrods worldwide exclusives. Among the 12 doors you'll find a selection of men's, women's and unisex fragrances.
However, in-app pre-orders opened just 24 hours ago on Monday 4 August, and they sold out by 5pm the same day. We're patiently waiting for a speedy restock.
