Robert Eggers Eyeing Reunion With Aaron-Taylor Johnson And Lily Rose-Depp On His Next Film ‘Werwulf' At Focus Features
Robert Eggers is getting the wheels in motion on his next film Werwulf as sources have confirmed to Deadline that Aaron-Taylor Johnson is set to star in the Focus Features pic with Lily Rose-Depp in talks to join the pic. Eggers will direct and co-wrote the script with The Northman's Sjón. Pic is getting a Christmas Day 2026 release in North America.
Focus Features is producing and financing. Both Eggers and Sjón will produce alongside Focus Features, with Maiden Voyage's Chris and Eleanor Columbus executive producing.

While plot details are currently under wraps, based on the title, the film will likely revolve around the mythical monster.
Both Taylor-Johnson and Depp starred in Eggers' most recent pic Nosferatu, which became the directors biggest hit to date. Taylor-Johnson was most recently seen in 28 Years Later.
