The bar combines the classic crispy wafer with a layer of rich salted caramel. Retailing for £1.50 a pop, the limited edition bar has been dubbed the perfect balance of sweet and salty. It is also twice the treat, coming in a supersized duo packet. The bar sends shoppers into a frenzy Thrilled Tesco customers have been quick to express their excitement over the new product. After spotting the treat in stores, one customer took to Facebook to spread the news. The post was met with lots of enthusiasm by chocolate lovers, with one writing, "THESE ARE SERIOUSLY GOOD." Another happy customer added: "These are lovely." One TikTok chocolate connoisseur said: "The star of the show is the salted caramel. "It's a soft, slightly gooey caramel that melts beautifully with the chocolate." The review concluded: "This is a fantastic addition to the KitKat Chunky lineup." The rare KitKat Chunky Funky bar made its return to Sainsbury's shelves, sending chocolate-lovers racing to get their hands on the treat. The sought-after snack features a cocoa wafer in a marbled milk chocolate and white coating. Shoppers were quick to express their excitement with one describing the chocolate as "absolutely brilliant." This comes after Nestle revealed it would be launching three new chocolate bars in June of this year. Joining the Chunky Funky and Chunky Salted Caramel is a Blue Riband Vanilla flavour. The triple launch couldn't have come at a better time, with Nestlé fans still reeling from the shock axe of Clusters, a breakfast staple loved by many. It comes hot on the heels of the disappearance of Cheerios Vanilla O's, also binned by the brand last summer.

A RARE KitKat bar has been spotted back on UK shelves by eagle-eyed shoppers. Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars. Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere. Websites like let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal. Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced. They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged. Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar. So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
