Esha Deol is Dharmendra's daughter from his second marriage with Hema Malini. She also has a sister named Ahana Deol. Prior to Bollywood's Dream Girl, Dharmendra was married to Prakash Kaur with who he has two sons – Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954 when he was reportedly just 19 years old. It is claimed that Dharmendra married Hema without giving Prakash a divorce. Esha Deol made her debut in Bollywood in the year 2002 with the romantic film Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe. Co-starring Aftab Shivadasani, the film tanked at the box office. After a slew of unsuccessful projects, she shed her girl-next-door image and went for a bold avatar in the 2004 film Dhoom. The film was a huge success and brought popularity to Esha Deol. Later, she appeared in films like Chura Liya Hai Tumne, No Entry, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, and Dus and Kuchh To Hai. However, she could not match the stardom of her parents and soon faded away from the industry. First Published:
