Galway tattoo shop reopens one year after its closure
At the end of August last year, Ciaran Lynch, owner of Lucky's Tattoo took to social media announcing that the shop would be closing.
Now, almost one year after the original announcement of Lucky's Tattoo's closure, Ciaran once again took to social media, but this time with happy news.
'Almost one year since closing Lucky's tattoo I'm happy to announce that we will be opening our new location at14 High St Galway,' a post on the shop's Instagram page revealed.
'It's been a huge job to get the shop ready, we've had set backs along the way and challenges to overcome but we made it through all adversity.
'I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who played a part in the making of the shop, to those who lent a helping hand and those who lent me tools to complete the work, also to those who helped me with any questions I had about building work, you're all greatly appreciated.'
Ciaran said that himself and his colleague Joe will be back tattooing in their 'tatt cave' in the heart of Galway city.
'Thanks to all our customers for your patience during this time and your continued support,' he continued.
Customers and friends of the tattoo artist have commented under the post, congratulating Ciaran on the shop's reopening and wishing the two artists the best.
Lucky's Tattoo is now located on 14 High Street, Galway city.
