According to Storyful reports, Joli said she was was sad when finding the dolphin. She also encouraged people to be more mindful of fishing lines.
'It saddens me. This is a dolphin calf with fishing line that looks to be cutting into its tail fluke for a while, something that is preventable if we simply reel in the fishing lines rather than cut them loose,' Joli said, according to Storyful. 'Unfortunately, it is a very common occurrence I have seen too many times off the coast. I just wish more people can be more responsible by simply picking up any fishing line, rubbish they come across as this will greatly reduce the negative impact to our wildlife.'
