A contractor will close Oak Forest Drive between West Mountain Street and the cul-de-sac on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 6, weather permitting. CityLink passengers getting free admission to the Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum in June

PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — CityLink passengers will soon be able to get free entry into the Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum next month. During the month of June, anyone with a bus pass or ticket for CityLink, CityLift, CountyLink and Benefit Access passengers will get a free entry opportunity, according to a CityLink news release. CityLink passengers just need to bring their bus pass or ticket to the admission desk to gain free general entry to Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum. One bus pass would be required for each adult ticket. 'We are excited to partner with this great local institution that offers educational exhibits, classes, workshops and programs,' Kofi Kisseh, Interim General Manager, CityLink, said. 'The museum agreeing to offer free entry to our passengers who present a bus pass or ticket in June provides an added benefit to being a supporter of the transportation services we offer.' Valid CityLink passes include: CityLink Day Pass – $3 per pass CityLink 30-Day Pass – $40 per pass CityLift Ticket – $2 per ticket CountyLink/CAUSE Ticket – $6 per ticket CityLink Benefit Access Card – Valid and up -to-date CityLink is expected to offer similar free entry opportunities with the Peoria Zoo, Caterpillar Visitors Center and the Peoria Riverfront Museum later this year.
