People driving in Guelph may need to plan a little extra time.
In a social media post at 4:12 p.m. Friday, the city said eastbound traffic on Speedvale Avenue East had been reduced to one lane near Woolwich Street due to safety concerns regarding road surface resettlement.
The south sidewalk is also closed between 45 Speedvale Avenue East and the Speed River.
The city did not share how long the lane reduction will be in effect, but said, 'The lane reduction and sidewalk closure will remain in place until the repair work is completed.'
