Two CSE rankers from Scheduled Castes study circle
Two students of Telangana Scheduled Castes study circle (TGSCSC) achieved ranks in the Civil Services Examinations 2024, results of which were announced on April 22 (Tuesday). Commissioner and Vice President (TGSCSC) N. Kshitija said both Gokamalla Anjaneyulu (AIR 934) and Ramtenki Sudhakar (AIR 949) are expected to get Indian Revenue Service (IRS). In the Civil Services (Preliminary) held in June 2024, 27 students from TGSCSC had qualified for the mains examination and three of them appeared at the interview stage. The study circle located at Banjara Hills offers 10-month residential IAS coaching for candidates hailing from poor SC, ST and BC communities. The students are enrolled based on a State-level entrance test, notified every year during May/June.

Keralites shine in Civil Services Examination
Keralites have made their mark in the Civil Services Examinations 2024, the results of which were announced on Tuesday. At least six candidates from the State have secured spots within the top 100 ranks, while at least 24 aspirants from Kerala have been placed within the top 500. Alfred Thomas from Kottayam secured the 33rd rank in his fifth attempt, capping a journey marked by perseverance and determination. Equally remarkable is the achievement of Malavika G. Nair from Thiruvalla, who clinched the 45th rank. An officer with the Indian Revenue Service, she reached this milestone in her sixth and final attempt, just two weeks after giving birth to her child. Some of the other Keralites who made it to the top 300 include Nandanaa G.P. of Valakam (47), Sonnet Jose (54) of Kottayam, Reenu Anna Mathew of Pathanapuram (81), Devika Priyadersini of Kollam (95), Jacob J. Puthenveettiil of Thiruvananthapuram (126), Krishna C. of Perumbavoor (139), Alex Abraham of Thrissur (165), Rajath R. of Nemom (169), Gopika B. of Thiruvananthapuram (185), Sowmya Krishnan of Varkala (196), Vineeth Lohidakshan of Perumbavoor (211), Hemanth Sankar P. of Palakkad (223), Akshay Dileep of Thrissur (246), Niniya Thomas of Ernakulam (254), and Lakshmipriya P. of Kozhikode (297).
