Man in US illegally uses another identity for job in Winter Haven: PCSO 'Civil War Trump': Lake Wales police search for suspect who spray-painted, threw Molotov cocktails at business Man discovers injured bald eagle outside Polk County camper Detectives went to the business where the human resource department provided them with documentation showing the victim's name, date of birth, and copies of their social security card and passport card. PCSO said the victim told deputies he lost his wallet in Plant City a few years ago and his social security card and passport identification were inside the wallet at the time. Robles had been employed by the company since March of 2024 and was receiving around $27,000 in wages. 'Identity theft can be a very difficult and time-consuming for someone to recover from. Had our suspect left the country when he was supposed to, this crime may have never occurred against the victim,' said Sheriff Grady Judd. According to PCSO, a representative from Immigration and Customs Enforcement reported that Robles entered the U.S. in April 2019 under an H2A Visa until June 2019, but he remained in the country illegally and was listed as a non-immigrant overstay. Robles charges amount to three felonies, but due to him being an unauthorized alien, each charge is enhanced by one degree, deputies said. Robles is charged with obtaining property by fraud, utter false instruments, criminal use of personal information, and unlawful possession of personal information. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
