Stroud plane banner proposal has locals looking to the skies
People living in the Cotswolds spotted a romantic message flying overhead on Saturday banner, which read "Nic, will you marry me?!" was carried by a plane over the Stroud area, with residents of Cashes Green, Randwick, Westrip, and Amberley left wondering who had been popped the question, and what their answer has since been revealed that Nic Curtis, who had travelled to Stroud from Kent for a birthday getaway with partner Paddy Nicholls, was the woman being proposed to, and she said "yes".Ms Curtis told BBC Radio Gloucestershire she was "very, very shocked" to be proposed to, although it was her fiancé's third attempt. Mr Nicholls said he booked the romantic cabin break for Ms Curtis' birthday, after the pair watched TV show Clarkson's Farm together and she said she would like to visit the he said the accommodation he booked seemed the "perfect place" to propose, it was a case of third time's the charm due to the weather putting a dampener on previously planned proposals."First time around was the day before Christmas Eve, I had it planned locally," Mr Nicholls said."My idea was that we were going to have my little boy there with us, and I'd point out the plane to him and be on one knee ready for the proposal, I suppose."It didn't go as planned because I had a text message from the pilot saying he wasn't able to get down due to the weather." The pair eventually got engaged over the weekend on the terrace of their cabin, as they ate breakfast and took in the Gloucestershire countryside."I thought it was the perfect place to do it," Mr Nicholls said."We haven't set a date yet, I think it will be a couple of years - we're doing the house up."

Jeremy Clarkson becomes midwife to deliver his dog Arya's 11 puppies
The Clarkson's Farm star was busy delivering his dog's puppies while England's Lionesses won the Euros 2025 against Spain Jeremy Clarkson acts as a midwife to deliver his dog Arya's 11 puppies after recently discovering midwifery is a talent of his. While England's Lionesses lifted the Euros 2025 trophy after beating Spain in penalties, the Clarkson's Farm star was incredibly busy delivering the animals at his Oxfordshire home. The ecstatic TV presenter, 65, celebrated the arrival of the puppies and he shared his excitement about the football. "Now I know you've all been enjoying the football but I've been rather busy, if I'm honest, because look what Arya's done!" Clarkson said in a piece to camera, shared on Instagram. "Yay! Well done Lionesses but really, really, really well done Arya!" His dog Arya appears on Clarkson's Farm alongside his other fox-red Labrador Retriever Sansa. Both dogs — named after the Game of Thrones characters — were sent off for training but came back just as mischievous in amusing Clarkson's Farm scenes. Diddly Squat Farm manager Kaleb Cooper was delighted to hear the news about the puppies. He commented on the Instagram post: "Whoop whoop! Can't wait to meet them all!" Jeremy Clarkson becomes a midwife One of Clarkson's followers was convinced his girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, would have been the midwife after showing her maternal side on Clarkson's Farm. Among the comments, one follower said: "Well done Arya and Lisa (who I'm sure was midwife!)." However, the former Top Gear host declared he was the midwife on this occasion. Clarkson wrote back: "Actually, I was!!" Many of his following praised his efforts, with one saying: "A man of many talents who can now add midwifery to his CV!!" Another added: "After the lambs, you earned the title Mr Clarkson - Journalist, Broadcaster, Midwife!" Someone else said: "You're now a vet as well as a farmer. The list gets bigger." "Is there anything Mr C can't do?" Despite the huge amount of interest in the puppies from his followers, it's not known whether he will become a dog breeder or whether they will all become stars on Clarkson's Farm. Clarkson did say he was done with business, though. He told The Times: "I am not starting another business as long as I live." His businesses include: the Clarkson's Farm show, Diddly Squat farm shop, The Farmer's Dog pub, Hawkstone's brewery. They have all proven to be a great success. Jeremy Clarkson has finally found his calling In April, Clarkson had discovered he had an unlikely talent when it comes to being a midwife — and it's something he really enjoys too. He wrote in The Times: "I'm sure there are many people who go through life like this, never really finding anything that they're good at or which they truly enjoy. But last week [April 26] that changed for me because, finally, after nearly 65 years of being average to poor at everything, I finally found something I both love and am quite good at. Midwifery." Clarkson helped deliver calves for the first time when his cows on Diddly Squat Farm were due. No doubt the scenes will play out in a future series of Clarkson's Farm. Previously, he has been present at a lot of animal births, including puppies, but he hasn't got involved. The TV presenter has helped lambs give birth in the past but he insisted that it isn't midwifery, "that's running a production line". Clarkson totally changed his life when he bought Diddly Squat Farm and became a farmer. It has taken his life in a different direction but he has found farming has become one of his true passions and now midwifery has too.

Jeremy Clarkson fans 'tear up' as Clarkson's Farm star 'deeply hurt'
Clarkson's Farm fans are sharing their favourite moments from across the show's four seasons, and say the Jeremy Clarkson-led programme features moments they 'teared up' at Viewers of the hit Amazon Prime show Clarkson's Farm are saying one moment in the programme has left them feeling teary-eyed. The show, presented by Jeremy Clarkson, has been running for four series and fans are now picking their favourite moments from the released episodes. A favourite moment was shared to the r/ClarksonsFarm Reddit page, where users praised the show and Clarkson for eliciting some emotional responses. The post reads: "I have, like many others, only known Jeremy from Top Gear and Grand Tour, and I've always perceived him as this cocky character whom I also find funny of course. "I expected him to be the same way when I started watching Clarkson's Farm. But I am more than surprised with how big his heart is!" The fan went on to share their favourite moment from the show, a scene which many have praised as one of Clarkson's Farm's very best parts. The fan adds: "He is so interested and humble (to a certain degree with Kaleb). He cares so much for the animals and even though it's sad, I love seeing how deeply it hurts for both him and Lisa when they send them to the butchers or they die. "He sees farming from such a wide perspective and he uses his screen time well to enlighten us non-farmers about the unknown reality of this hardcore profession in an interactive manner. I just love watching it! "I just saw the episode of season three where Kaleb gets frustrated over the bad crops and how much work that goes into it. I must admit I teared up a bit." Other fans have praised the show for showing a more authentic side to Clarkson seen in a forgotten series of documentaries he made on military battles. One fan of the show wrote: "I keep telling my wife that I have been a Top Gear and GT fan for a long time, and specifically a fan of Clarkson. But it feels like we are getting a lot more authenticity from him than all the other shows before." Another added: "I loved the show always thought Clarkson was sharp and very intelligent and he spoke to us like we where as well." A third shared this similar emotive style from Clarkson could be found in his war documentary, The Greatest Raid of All Time. The user wrote: "Look up on YouTube his war documentaries. One about VC awarded soldiers and their stories and one called the greatest raid of all time. It's these that really showed how much of his top gear and grand tour attitude was just a TV persona." Other fans of Clarkson's Farm are saying Clarkson's attitude throughout the Amazon Prime series are what got them into Top Gear and The Grand Tour. One fan shared: "'Clarkson's Farm' is a fantastic show. It got me into watching his other shows." Another added: "I don't think it was unauthenticity we were seeing before, but more of the out with the lads kinda attitude during top gear, Clarkson farm is just us seeing him at home."
