Ammanford bike and classic car nights boost town's economy

Matthew and Tara James, from Has Beanz coffee bar, are hosting Wednesday evening Bike Nights and Classic Cars and Coffee nights. The bike nights, which began in July, see bikers gathering at the coffee bar between 5.30pm and 8pm, providing an opportunity for people with shared interests to meet and socialise. A classic car gathering was held on Quay Street on July 23, featuring new and vintage cars for locals to view and meet the drivers. On Saturday, 28th June from 11am–3pm, Chrome 'n' Classics will host its annual event in the XSite car park for the first time – showcasing over 200 classic, custom, American, and vintage cars. From polished icons of the past to roaring modern marvels, the event is set to be a feast for the eyes of the engine-obsessed. Attendees can also look forward to a host of 'Best in Show' category awards including Best Show 'n' Shine, Best Restoration, Best American/Custom, Best Classic Car, and the fan-voted Public's Choice Award.
