Adam Levine and Wife Behati Prinsloo List Their Montecito Estate for $65 Million After Buying ‘Special' New Home Near Their Kids' School

Maroon 5 crooner Adam Levine and his supermodel wife, Behati Prinsloo, are preparing to make yet another headline-grabbing real estate move after listing their Montecito, CA, abode for a staggering $65 million just three years after buying it. The couple, who share three children together, purchased the elegant dwelling for $52 million in an off-market deal in 2022. They've decided to part ways with the property to relocate to a new home that is closer to their kids' school. At first glance, it is difficult to see what could make a home more spectacular than their nine-bedroom, 10.5-bathroom estate. However, a spokesperson for the duo told Architectural Digest that their new abode was simply 'too special to resist.' According to the outlet, Levine, 46, and Prinsloo, 37, who wed in 2014, saw their new home as an 'exciting opportunity' that they plan to spend the next year 'developing.' The newly purchased abode, which was built in 1919, is a Spanish-style ranch that comes with guesthouses, a barn, and stables—representing a dramatic change in aesthetic for the couple, whose Montecito abode would not be out of place in a Ralph Lauren catalog. According to its listing, the home underwent an extensive renovation during Levine and Prinsloo's ownership, with the couple turning to the celebrity-loved team at Clements Design to help them overhaul the dwelling. As a result, 'the home is the epitome of turnkey luxury,' the listing notes. The property comes not only with an expansive main house, but also two guesthouses. Impressive amenities abound both inside and outside the home, which features a 'state-of-the-art gym and wellness area,' a home theater, a catering kitchen, a tennis court, a vegetable garden, a chicken coop, and a koi pond. Thanks to its hilltop perch, the home also boasts stunning views of the ocean, as well as an expanse of green lawn that is dotted with trees and plants. Inside, the aesthetic is modern, yet elegant, with roaring fireplaces seen in multiple rooms to give the home a very cozy feel without sacrificing the classic California vibe. For those with a penchant for entertaining, there are multiple areas in the home to do so, including the enormous kitchen that features an island capable of seating plenty of guests, as well as a formal dining room, a dark living room complete with a private bar, and a main living space that features a wall of windows. Outside, there is a lounge area and a dining area where meals can be enjoyed under the sunshine or the stars. The home's huge swimming pool has also been outfitted with multiple sun loungers and umbrellas to provide yet another area in which to entertain guests or simply to soak up some rays in privacy. The upstairs patio area features yet another lounging area, as well as a small table for dining. As one might expect of such an A-list couple, the primary suite has also been outfitted with an enormous walk-in closet that could double as an additional sitting room. It is far from the first time that Prinsloo and Levine have bought and flipped a pricey property, having been through the process multiple times during their 11-year marriage, regularly selling the homes to other A-listers. For example, in 2018, the pair snapped up a Beverly Hills abode for $34 million and, after refreshing the home, sold it to fellow luxury real estate aficionado Ellen DeGeneres the following year, for $45 million. Also in 2018, they purchased a Pacific Palisades property from Ben Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, for $32 million. They put that home on the market four years later, for $57.5 million. It was sold later that year for $51 million, netting the couple a near-$20 million profit in the process. Should they manage to secure their asking price for their latest listing property, the couple will walk away with $13 million in profit. Although the home could well be seen as something of a high point in the couple's real estate journey, it also holds some unhappy memories. In 2024, the couple faced a lawsuit from California decorator Shana Kallen, who claimed that she suffered a traumatic brain injury at the home while working for the famous pair. Legal documents seen by reveal that Kallen accused Levine and Prinsloo—who were identified only by their initials, as well as the trust through which they bought the home—of 'negligence.' Kallen said that they failed to ensure a safe working environment at their dwelling after hiring her to decorate their outdoor patio with plants. Kallen claims that in March 2023 she fell to the ground from a ladder that was set up for her to access the second-floor patio, claiming that she hit the concrete ground and, as a result, suffered a brain injury. Legal records indicate that her case against the couple is still open, with Kallen pushing for the lawsuit to be taken to trial. Jessica Alba's MASSIVE Beverly Hills 'Dream House" Just Sold for $18.2 Million

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are taking down the 'For Sale' sign to their former family home. According to the actress and film producer have found a buyer for their Beverly Hills mansion as of June 30, 2025, just two months after it went on the market. The undisclosed buyer reportedly paid $18.2 million for the home, scoring the divorcing couple $8.3 million in profits, as they purchased the property for $9.9 million back in 2017. The original homeowners that Alba and Warren bought the property from didn't share the former couple's design taste, but Alba thought the home's bones were exactly what she was looking for. So, rather than wait for the buyers to stage the home, the businesswoman persuaded the family to move forward with a sale and worked closely with mother-son design team Kathleen and Tommy Clements of Clements Design to bring her vision to life. The California 'dream house,' as Alba so affectionately described it to Architectural Digest sits on 1.82 acres of land adorned with greenery and mature trees. The home boasts seven bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms; its primary suite is complete with a fireplace, a ginormous walk-in closet, a spa-like bathroom with a glassed-in soaking tub and shower, plus a sitting room overlooking the grounds. Additional features worth highlighting include a massive yet cozy home theater, a library, a sprawling, kid-friendly backyard with a shaded patio, an in-ground pool, and stylish cabanas for lounging, a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast room, and reclaimed wood and rare marble/stone throughout the rooms. In January 2025, the Honest Company founder took to Instagram to announce that she and Warren would be 'embarking on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals' after 20 years together. Their home, which, Alba told AD, served as 'a place to watch our kids play and grow up,' hit the real estate market in April. Follow on Instagram and TikTok.
