When her case came back before Dublin District Court, the judge was told DPP directions had not been given yet. Ms Pedrosa remained in prison, not having taken up bail. The judge remanded her in custody with consent to bail to appear in court again by video link later this month. Previously, the court heard she arrived in Dublin on March 16 on a flight from Sao Paulo, via Paris. She was stopped and a number of suspected cocaine pellets were located in her bag and coat. She was taken to Beaumont Hospital where she passed 96 pellets of cocaine, a garda said. It was alleged she had agreed to transport the drug to Ireland for a sum of money.
