Isle of Man TT: Two-hour delay to racing due to showers

Isle of Man TT: Start of 2025 racing pushed back to Sunday
Racing at the Isle of Man TT has been pushed back by a day following weather disruption to of the Course Gary Thompson confirmed Sunday's scheduled Superbike TT race would take place as planned 13:30 he said Monday's contingency road closures would now be used to run the rescheduled Supersport race one at 10:45 and Sidecar race one at 14: planned race schedule has made way for two qualifying sessions, weather permitting. It follows disruption to practice and qualifying sessions on the 37.7-mile (61km) TT course earlier in the week due to poor weather conditions. The Mountain Road is set to close at 09:00 on Saturday, with the rest of the course due to shut at 10:00. Saturday's schedule 10:30 - Superbike and Superstock11:30 - Supersport and Supertwin12:30 - Sidecar14:00 - Superbike and Superstock14:45 - Supersport and Supertwin16:00 - Sidecar Roads around the course are due to reopen no later than 21:30.
