Upon arrival, firefighters were able to extinguish flames coming from above the restaurant. Norman said it appeared the fire started in a bedroom and the fire was contained to the apartment. No one was injured in the blaze, Norman said.
Norman said there was no fire damage to the restaurant, but there was significant water and smoke damage. He estimated damages at $300,000.
There was no word on when the restaurant would reopen or what led to the blaze as an investigation is ongoing.

'Hopefully they'll be able to recover,' Norman said of the restaurant, which was recently featured in the Cleveland-filmed 'Superman.' 'It's a loss for the neighborhood. We did a nice job containing the fire but we'll just have to see where it leads.'
