Cork EuroMillions shop's incredible gesture to celebrate jackpot win
Clifford's Centra on Shandon Street, the shop that sold the €250million winning EuroMillions ticket, is giving away free ham and cheese sandwiches all day on Tuesday.
The Cork shop is giving away the classic sambos while stocks last as a way to celebrate the life-changing win.

The lucky ticket was the biggest EuroMillions win in the history of the draw, and the family syndicate stated they would still be enjoying 'ham and cheese sambos for lunch' when they collected the prize.
The family opted to remain anonymous, but admitted the life-changing windfall was 'surreal'.
One family member admitted that they were a regular player who hadn't picked up a ticket for the two previous draws, but decided to buy one on their way to an appointment.
They shared: 'I ran upstairs to my wife who had just gone to bed and woke her up. We both checked the numbers multiple times on the website.
'We sat on the edge of the bed saying, 'Oh my god' over and over. We were in total shock, complete disbelief.' The shop has given away free sandwiches to 'keep it simple'. Pic: Seán Dwyer
The golden ticket was tucked inside an A4 sheet beneath a pile of folded laundry in the bedroom until they attended the National Lottery, with the family carrying on with their day-to-day routine in the days following.
On top of the €250million prize, the winners are set up to earn €5m a year in interest without even spending a cent of their newfound mega-fortune.
Financial experts last weekend said even Ireland's notoriously stingy banks would pay 2% interest on the massive winnings.
So even if they don't opt to hide the jackpot away in a high-interest Swiss bank account, the 2% Irish rate would still earn the winner about €416,667 every month.
