Boatyard donates £2,000 for Looe RNLI to buy new equipment
A Cornish boatyard has donated £2,000 to its local RNLI crew to help it buy new RNLI said it had received the financial boost from C Toms and Sons of Polruan, which the crew is set to put towards new plastic stretchers for its Palfrey, lifeboat operations manager, said the donation was wonderful and would provide "valuable support" for the crew's work along the south east Cornwall and Paul Toms, from the boatyard, said it was important for the company to support the RNLI crew and they were "thrilled" to help with the purchase of the equipment.
