Witness appeal as teenage cyclist injured in Dublin collision dies
A teenage cyclist who was seriously injured in a collision last week has died, it has been announced. The 19-year-old male cyclist was injured after being struck by a car at the R113, Fonthill Road South, Clondalkin in Dublin shortly after 11.40pm on July 27. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital in a critical condition. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital on August 4. In a statement, gardaí said the coroner has been notified and an autopsy will be carried out. Investigating gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward. Road users who may have relevant camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí. More info Gardaí have launched a public appeal to trace the whereabouts of a Dublin woman who has been reported missing from her home in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, since the morning of Monday, June 23rd. Amy Hutchinson, aged 25, was last seen in the Clondalkin area at approximately 10:30am. She has access to a 12-KE-registered orange Ford Focus. She is described as approximately 5 feet 2 inches in height, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. When last seen, she was wearing a pink top and green leggings. Anyone with information on Amy's whereabouts is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 666 7600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station. GARDAI have launched a major search for a 25-year-old woman who has been missing from her home since yesterday morning. Two men arrested after serious assault which left man hospitalised in Dublin
The assault took place at a residence in Kilcronan View, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, yesterday afternoon. A man, aged in his 20s, remains in hospital being treated for non-life threatening injuries following the incident. A man, aged in his 20s, and a youth, aged in his late teens, were arrested earlier today in connection with the assault. Both males are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in Dublin. Gardaí continue to appeal to anyone with any information relating to this incident to please come forward. Anyone who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the area between 12.30pm and 1.30pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
