Rescheduled north Kerry fundraiser concert featuring Michael English will be ‘wonderful night'
The concert, which will take place at Moyvane Parish Church, was originally organised for March but had to be rescheduled at late notice due to the untimely death of Michael English's nephew and godson Dara.
Michael English has previously performed in Moyvane Church at a sold-out show in 2018.
Members of the organising committee of the upcoming concert said the event will be a 'wonderful night'.
A donation from the proceeds of the event will be made to support Listowel youngster Axel Horgan in his battle against Cloves Syndrome, a very rare congenital disorder.
A draw with an amazing prize will be also held at the concert before the music begins.
The winner of the raffle will receive return flights to New York for two people and a four-night stay in the Fitzpatrick Hotel in Manhattan.
The prize has been sponsored by Des Adams of Adams Car Sales and businessman Danny Tim O'Sullivan of Kells and London.
Tickets for the concert cost €30 and tickets for the draw cost €10. They are available from Moyvane Parish Office (068 49308) and numerous outlets throughout North and South Kerry.
