The Club has been a family favourite and lunchbox staple for generations of biscuit lovers. Club Layers Orange will be exclusively available at Spar from June 30 for just 79p per bar. It will then roll out market wide in multiple supermarkets and convenience stores across the country from July 21. Shoppers can expect to see the tasty new treat in their nearest Sainsbury's from August 11 and Asda Express from September 1. This new mouthwatering, chocolate-coated wafer bar delivers the same chunky satisfaction as the classic Club biscuit but in an exciting new format. Now fans will have the opportunity to enjoy their favourite in a fresh way as it arrives in confectionary aisles across the UK for the first time. You'll be treated to a generously coated thick milk chocolate bar filled with a punchy orange flavoured cream and multiple layers of crisp wafer. It's perfect for whenever you need a snack on the go, lunch breaks, or whenever you need to do a little indulging. "With Club having long been a favourite snack in many households, our new wafer bar offers a fresh way to enjoy the beloved classic and is perfect for those busy moments when you need a quick, tasty pick-me-up." This isn't the only new product launched by McVitie's in recent weeks either. The brand has unveiled two brand new Hobnobs biscuits much to the delight of shoppers. Dubai Ice Cream The biscuit maker has launched the crumbly biscuit in cookie form with customers able to choose from a milk or dark chocolate flavour. The treat maker has also launched a new fruity flavour of its digestive biscuits after undergoing an exciting makeover. The biscuit will topped with a luscious raspberry and cream-flavour coating. The limited-edition McVitie's Pink Digestives Raspberry & Cream Flavour are now available in supermarkets across the UK. MORE NEW PRODUCTS McVitie's is not the only brand launching new products. Pot Noodle is launching a new Flame Grilled Steak version of the popular instant noodles. It is available at Asda for £1.20 per pot. Elsewhere, Cadbury recently announced the launch of a White Dipped Twirl - a new take on the Twirl bar coated in white chocolate. The bars hit shelves on June 2 but will only be available for a limited time. Nutella launched a new peanut butter flavour spread, but the item is only currently sold in the US.

Operating for more than 185 years, the McVitie's Digestive is arguably the UK's favourite biscuit - famed for its sweet, wheaty taste, and crumbly texture. Now, McVitie's is reimagining one of its most iconic brands with the launch of McVitie's Club Layers Orange - a chocolate-coated wafer bar with all the chunky satisfaction of the classic Club biscuit, in an exciting new format. Elsewhere, Marks and Spencer has unveiled the limited-edition Strawberry & Creme Sandwich, billed as a "game-changing, oh-so-scrummy treat" made with the retailer's "iconic" British Red Diamond Strawberries. With a thick layer of whipped cream cheese spread between two pieces of fluffy sweetened bread, the creation, available at local M&S Foodhalls now, has been inspired by the Japanese sweet sandos, or fruit sandwiches. However, the Strawberry & Creme Sandwich has left Brits divided. While some are lapping up the fruity drop, others have labelled it "nonsense" and a complete over-indulgence. Shoppers can find the creation alongside the supermarket's regular sandwiches.

If you were a kid in the 80s or 90s, Club Orange was no doubt a staple part of your lunchbox. But now, the iconic McVitie's biscuit is getting a spin-off. The confectionary giant is launching a brand new chocolate bar inspired by the nostalgic snack: introducing, the Club Layers Orange. Club Layers Orange is a thick milk chocolate-coated wafer bar with a zingy orange-flavoured cream filling and multiple layers of wafer — a fresh new take on the biscuit we all grew up with. McVitie's says the new product is designed for on-the-go snacking, or as the perfect afternoon sweet treat, and promises to deliver 'a quick, tasty pick-me-up'. You'll find it exclusively in Spar stores from June 30, for just 79p. A wider rollout across convenience shops and supermarkets is planned from 21 July. It will also hit Sainsbury's shelves on August 11and Asda Express on September 1. And it's fair to say that shoppers are excited. You can still get your hands on Club Orange, Club Mint, Club Gold and other staple flavours at supermarkets. Just last month, Nutella unveiled a brand-new plant-based version of its iconic spread – and it contains a rather surprising ingredient: chickpeas. The vegan-certified spread hit Sainsbury's stores nationwide on May 25, but it won't be hitting any other supermarkets for a while, as a full rollout isn't planned until 2026.
