Gilberto Mora , just 16 year-old wonderkid, has etched his name into Mexican football history by becoming the youngest-ever debutant for Mexico in a Gold Cup match, taking the field in a 2–0 quarter-final win over Saudi Arabia. Born on October 14, 2008, in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mora plays as an attacking midfielder for Liga MX side Club Tijuana. He made his professional debut in Liga MX at age 15, even scoring his first goal that season to become the youngest goalscorer in the league.
