I got a cute flower tattoo but people say it looks so ‘horribly done & blown out' they tell me to ‘amputate my leg'

A WOMAN has revealed that she wanted a cute flower tattoo, but has been left with an ink that is 'mega infected'. Jimmy, a self-proclaimed 'emo girl', recently got the small flower tattoo which has a sad face inside, on the bottom of her leg. 2 2 But just seven days after getting the tattoo, Jimmy noticed the edges of the flower appeared very crusty and sore. Eager for advice, Jimmy took to social media to ask for 'help', leaving many totally stunned. Not only did people say her inking looked 'horribly done and blown out', but others told her to get her leg 'amputated' to deal with the blunder. Alongside her short clip showing off her new inking, Jimmy wrote: 'I got this tattoo over a week ago, now idk what to do?' She then added: 'I'm not sure if it's infected or what. 'It's real red and hurts and just doesn't seem to be healing.' This inking isn't Jimmy's first inking - in fact, she confessed to being 'covered in a lot of silly tattoos'. After getting her latest ink, Jimmy claimed that she has been ' cleaning and moisturising it quite regularly' with Cocoa butter, so isn't sure why it has had an adverse reaction. The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 185,800 views. Not only this, but it's also amassed 2,532 likes and 326 comments. I never have to buy clothes as I've got them tattooed on & love it but trolls totally disagree Social media users were left horrified by Jimmy's tattoo fail and many eagerly raced to the comments to share their thoughts on the 'blown out' ink. One person said: 'This is seriously badly done, majorly blown out and 100% infected. For the fact you've said you got this a week ago go to your GP and get antibiotics. Also don't go back to the artist who did this.' Advice from a Celebrity Tattoo Artist CELEBRITY Tattoo Artist Matt Roe has revealed his top tips on getting inked to Fabulous... WHAT TATTOOS LOOK BEST? Matt says: "Tattoos are a highly personal choice, and my preference leans towards black and grey over colour. This is a style I've specialised in for over decade of my career, after exploring a variety of styles during my initial six years in tattooing. "This choice evolved from a deep appreciation for the timeless aesthetic that black and grey tattoos offer. Beyond colour preferences, it can be rewarding to choose a design that holds personal significance or matches your aesthetic tastes, although it isn't strictly necessary. "From an artistic standpoint, well-balanced designs that harmonise with the body's natural contours and enhance your features will invariably stand the test of time. "I often draw inspiration from classic pieces of art or nature for my designs, as these themes are more enduring and less influenced by trends. Whether opting for a bold statement piece or a delicate fine line design, the right tattoo should always feel like it's meant to be a part of you." WHICH STYLE IS RIGHT FOR ME? Matt shares: "Identifying the right style for your tattoo starts with some initial research. It's worth dedicating time to explore different tattoo styles - traditional, realism, and geometric are just a few examples. "Pay attention to what visually appeals to you the most. Reflect on the types of art that resonate with you in other areas of your life and consider how these preferences might translate onto your skin. "Before choosing a tattoo artist, have a clear idea of your preferred style, as most artists have their specialisations. Requesting a style outside their expertise is like asking an oil painter to create a pencil drawing—they might manage it and could do well, but it won't showcase their tried-and-tested skills to the best of their ability. "Once you've narrowed down your preferences, a skilled tattoo artist should be able to suggest designs that complement your skin tone, body type, and the intended scale of your tattoo. "The key is to blend your personal taste with professional guidance to find a style that truly suits you." TATTOOS TO AVOID? Matt recommends: "It's wise to steer clear of designs that are overly trendy, or based on jokes and fads, as these can quickly become outdated. "Some might recommend opting for heavy bold tattoos as they have been known to age better, but from my experience, a well-tattooed fine line piece can outlast a poorly tattooed bold-lined tattoo this isn't to say one is better than the other but my advice would be to choose someone experienced and skilled in the type of tattoo you are looking for. "Also, consider the long-term implications of getting tattoos with names of partners or overtly aggressive motifs, as these might limit your personal and professional opportunities in the future. "Additionally, think carefully about the placement of your tattoo, especially if it may need to be covered for professional reasons. These might not be concerns you need to consider, given your lifestyle, but having them in mind before proceeding with a tattoo is advisable. "Ultimately, a tattoo should be something that you are confident and comfortable with for a lifetime, reflecting your true self without reservation. "When looking for an artist, it's best to find ones with good reviews and healed photos of their work. Try to find someone with whom you feel comfortable and who will listen to any concerns you may have about design and placement. You don't want to feel rushed into a decision that will be with you forever." Another added: 'That looks so blown out. Perhaps they didn't use the right ink and you might be allergic, definitely went in too deep regardless.' A third commented: 'To me it unfortunately looks like a horribly done tattoo that you're now paying the price for. It's very blown out leading to scar tissue which pulls on and irritates your skin majorly.' Meanwhile, someone else remarked: 'Whoever did that to you needs their licence taken away!' Not only this, but another user questioned: 'Looks like a child did this.' Which tattoos hurt the most? Depending on what part of your body you choose to ink, tattoos can range significantly in terms of pain levels. Some of the most painful areas are those where the skin tends to be thinner or closer to the bone. Each area has specific factors which contribute to the level of pain. Ribcage: Thin skin, little muscle, and many nerve endings. Feet and ankles: Many bones, tendons, and nerve endings close to the surface. Hands and fingers: Many bones, tendons, and nerve endings, resulting in increased pain during tattooing. Knuckles can be especially painful. Spine: Proximity of the spinal cord and nerve endings makes it sensitive. Tattooing directly over the vertebrae can be especially painful. Knees and elbows: Thin skin and little padding between the skin and the underlying bones. Armpits and groin: High concentration of nerve endings and lymph nodes. Neck and throat: Thin and sensitive skin, with many nerve endings and blood vessels close to the surface. Source: Tatt2Away At the same time, one user claimed: 'I'm afraid it'll need to be amputated.' But following the barrage of negative comments, in a follow-up clip, Jimmy was eager to clap back at the haters and show off her healed tattoo. She said: 'To everyone who thought I should admit myself into the emergency room (or even amputate my leg) because of my mega infected tattoo, well here's me doing good now so chill out.'

Slimy Comments, Fraud Contestants, And Lots Of Banku: Let's Get Into This Okra Stew 'Food Swap'

Slimy Comments And Banku: Let's Get Into This Okra Stew 'Food Swap' Today we have 3 Ghanaians making their versions of okra stew – the contestants we have for this episode of 'Food Swap' are Gabriella, David, and Eugenia. They break down the origin of okra stew, with Eugenia putting us on that it 'hails from the Volta region of Ghana' and shares its ingredients: a blend of peppers, okra, and it's the consistency of the sliminess and it must be served with banku. Banku is a half cassava, half corn dough mixture that you can eat with your hands (or if you're bougie like Eugenia, use a spoon. I'll take one please.). Eugenia kicks us off with her okra stew, whose recipe was passed down by her aunt. She keeps the traditional ingredients the same within her stew and also adds cow meat. To get the 'maximum sliminess,' she used baking soda. Time for the bites. Gabriella has her sentiments on the okra stew, calling it 'slippery' while David seems to be ready to eat. Gabriella said she would eat this while David says the banku tastes 'three days old.' Yikes. Now, David has a lot of comments to say so hopefully his okra stew is good. Final score: 14.5 Now, it's David's turn and after running down the ingredients he used from tomatoes, onions, and peppers, he shares he added meat to his and used goat's meat. He also used Welle, which is known as cow tripe made from cow's feet. Take to eat and Eugenia was appalled he had no banku on the plate. Gabriella seemed positive and while she's not a fan of Walle, she still was down to give it a try. Eugenia took her bite and wasn't feeling it, saying it was 'too salty.' Gabriella says while David's is better than Eugenia's, it's not as slimy and it's smoky. Errrrrgh – we were bamboozled folks. Gabriella picked up what was supposed to be meat, and it was just…the cow's skin. Not the food catfishing – a mess. Final score: 10.5 Now, it's Gabriella's turn. She learned how to make okra stew from her mother and she made sure to use palm oil in the stew while adding cow's feet, turkey necks, and goat with crab meat and scotch bonnet for that spice. Time to eat! First looks and they were gagged. It gave 10/10 for the presentation. Okay Gabriella . Now, first bites are in – David jumped up and gagged at how good it was. It was all smiles and positive vibes – David had to go to the green room to finish chile. Final score: 17 NOW WAIT A MINUTE — DUN DUN DUN Before we wrapped the episode, David gets disqualified. But, I won't tell you why – watch the video to find out. I feel like I say this all the time but – who are the talent reps at Cocoa Butter, do ya'll need some help with the casting (laughs). Also – Gabriella, you make vegan versions of that okra stew?

Is It Givin' Entenmann's Or Homemade: Let's Get Into These Pound Cakes

Is It Givin' Entenmann's Or Homemade: Let's Get Into These Pound Cakes Now a good pound cake is fluffy, buttery, and has a little bit of creaminess in the middle of the bite. The top must be golden brown on the top – a little bit light skin while the bottom and the side could be a bit browner. We have Donna, KD, and Shatera who are going to try each other's pound cake, and hopefully it gives what it needs to give. KD broke down the traditional way a pound cake should be baked – 1 lb of butter, sugar, eggs, and other fixings you would like to add, but the first three are a must. Shatera also lets the audience know that this is truly a Black family staple – you can have this at a baby shower, funeral, birthday party, and just in the crib for a late night bite. Anyways, let's get into the competition and we first have Shatera. Shatera spiced her pound cake up and made a 7 Up by the pound cake. Now, 7 Up cake is also a cultural staple in the Black community so merging the two MIGHT not be so bad. She also added a secret ingredient: cream cheese. Shatera lets us know she's the go-to cook during the holidays, so let's see how the aunties react and if they would stop by for a plate of this pound cake. From the presentation, Auntie Donna is skeptical while Auntie KD seems to be intrigued by the submission, highlighting the glaze on the sides. First bites are in: Auntie Donna said its 'just okay,' while Auntie KD kept it very cutesy, very demure, and shared Shatera 'did a good job on this one.' Final score: 15 It's Auntie Donna's turn – and I may have a bone to pick with our Cocoa Butter producers. Why is this Auntie Donna's first time making pound cake but she has so much to say about Shatera? Who is on the talent side? We need to vet the folks better (unless the goal is for the giggles and the comments to eat her up, then hey, mission accomplished). Anyways, Auntie Donna says her pound cake is 'delicious,' but from what I see, it looks like a chocolate cake with powdered sugar. Auntie Donna shares her ingredients, and first off, who puts Pink Himalayan on pound cake? Already lost me, no shade. Her secret ingredient is sour cream. Whew. I can't even continue – Auntie Donna is bigging herself up and chile…. So anywho, let's get into the first bites from Auntie Shatera and Auntie KD. Auntie Shatera hit it on the nail and said the same thing I said – it looks like it has some chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar. While not traditional, Auntie Shatera isn't giving it too much flack. Auntie KD is a sweetheart, giving positive sentiments to the pound cake calling it a 'nice presentation.' Auntie KD says it's a 'nice cake,' while Auntie Shatera questions if Ashton Kutcher is in the room and she's being Punk'd. I feel you, Auntie. She compared her cake to Entenmann's from the store – now didn't I say at the top of this commentary to leave the Entenmann's at home? Final score: 14 Now, let's see what Auntie KD has for me. Now, the presentation looks cute – she added some strawberries and a homemade cream to the top of the pound cake. Welp – at first glance, Auntie Donna and Auntie Shatera are skeptical. Auntie Shatera says its giving 'strawberry shortcake' while Auntie Donna wasn't feeling the presentation. Auntie Shatera took her bite and labeled it 'plain,' wondering where the sugar or sweetness is while Auntie Donna is not a fan of it at all. And the way they describing it, I wouldn't be either chile. Final score: 7 Here comes one of the world's favorite Auntie's – summoning Miss Vivica A. Fox! Vivica starts with Donna's submission – and she was feeling it folks, but noted it was 'dry.' She gives it a 5. Next, she tried KD's pound cake and was already into it. She gives her an 8. Finally, it's time for Shatera's and calls it dry. She ends up giving her a 3. This means…. shockingly enough, Auntie Donna wins. If you liked my shady commentary, I know you'll love this shady episode. Click the video below – and Auntie Donna, right on playa! Sometimes it takes one shot and boom, you're a winner.

It's Team Korea Vs Team Southern: Who's Taking Home The Gold?

It's Team Korea Vs Team Southern: Who's Taking Home The Gold? This is the only time I will be here for Black and POC's to be at odds with each other. This is literally the only time I'll be rooting for Black and POC folks to go head-to-head — and trust, it's all love and a whole lot of crunch and heat in the kitchen. Repping Team Korea, we've got the dynamic duo Jodi and Jiyeon while on the other side, standing strong for Team Southern, it's Angela and Marshay. Marshay kicks things off with a bold claim — she believed fried chicken originally came from Korea. Now, I'm not saying she's totally wrong, but according to a few sources, the origins of the popular dish are often credited to Scotland and the American South. Naturally, Cocoa Butter came through with the receipts. We pointed out that Korean fried chicken as we know it today can be traced back to the 1950s, during the Korean War, when American soldiers introduced fried chicken to Korea — and the rest, as they say, is history. Jodi jumps in to break down the key difference between Korean and Southern fried chicken, noting that it all comes down to the sauce. That crispy, sticky, sweet-heat glaze is a Korean signature. You better get you a box of them thangs. Now this right here? This is history in the making — our very first food swap versus episode, and whew, y'all are in for a treat. Let's dig in and find out which fried chicken reigned supreme. Each participant came ready with their best fried chicken recipe to put to the test. Let's get into it. First up: Marshay. She kicks things off by letting the group know this isn't just any fried chicken — it's her grandmother's recipe. And if there's one thing we know, grandmothers don't play when it comes to flavor and love in the kitchen. Marshay said her recipe gives people that 'home' feeling — the kind that hits no matter where you're from. The first impressions were strong. You could smell the seasoning before the first bite, and the presentation was on point. Once the forks hit the plate? It was a wrap. Everyone was raving. Jodi said it was the seasoning that sealed the deal for her. I know that's right, Marshay — shout out to Grandma. Not only was the love clearly present, but Marshay also revealed her secret weapon: a little mustard in the mix. I might have to try that next time I'm cheffing it up. Final score: 24 Next up: Jodi. She brought a twist with Korean coleslaw on the side, and her fried chicken featured a bold plum jalapeño glaze. Oh girl, I know that chicken had a lil' kick. Initial reactions were mostly positive — but Jiyeon kept it real and said it wasn't quite her vibe. And listen, we appreciate honesty over here at Cocoa Butter. While Marshay was going in on that coleslaw, Angela and Jaydon weren't really feeling it. Angela also said she wished the chicken had more seasoning. Final score: 16 Now it's Jiyeon's turn. Sis had a lot to say about Jodi's Korean fried chicken, so now it's her moment to step up and show out. She listed her ingredients with care, and her special ingredient? Her heart. And I've said it before — cooking with love makes all the difference. But you know what they say: the ones who critique the most? Sometimes they don't deliver when it's their time to shine. The ladies had thoughts before even tasting it. Words like 'bland,' 'interesting,' and 'no melanin' were flying. Whew. Already a rough start. And after the first bites? The verdict was: floury, not seasoned enough. The only silver lining? At least it smelled like Korean fried chicken… so, points for that? I'm gonna spare Jiyeon and just hit you with the score. Final score: 13 Last but definitely not least: Angela. Sis didn't come to play — she came with a whole spread. Fried chicken, cornbread, green beans, potato salad, banana pudding… and to wash it all down? Grape Kool-Aid. Oh yes, she understood the assignment. Angela's secret (besides paprika and parsley)? Making it with love, of course. Let's see if that love translates. From the second the plate hit the table, the girls knew — that's southern fried chicken. Marshay nailed it when she said you could tell it's Southern because 'you got a little bit of diabetes and high blood pressure on the side.' She is a kiii. Bring her back, immediately. Once they took a bite? Eyes rolled back. Silence. Bliss. That's when you know it's hittin'. Angela had them shook — from first bite to last crumb. Final score: 26 Which means Team Southern took the crown. Moral of the story? Always bet on Black. Now listen — I know my commentary was enough to paint the picture, but trust me, you're gonna want to see their reactions for yourself. Hit the video below and tap in. Also… I'm with Marshay — who got Angela's number? Because I need that banana pudding yesterday.

Turkey Burgers, Shade, And Lots Of Love: Let's Get Into This Turkey Burger Showdown

Turkey Burgers, Shade, And Lots Of Love: Let's Get Into This Turkey Burger Showdown Today, it's all about that turkey meat, baby! Cocoa Butter is back with a fresh, juicy episode of 'People Try Each Other's' — where three bold contestants step up to the orange wall and put their turkey burger skills to the ultimate taste test. This time around, we've got Stacie, Malicia, and Alexandria in the building — pulling up and showing out with their best burger creations, each one hoping to serve something unforgettable (and maybe humble their opponents in the process). Now me? I usually root for the one who's not doing the absolute most. A little humility and a lot of flavor goes a long way. So from the jump, I was vibing with Stacie. Her energy felt right — and good energy usually means good food. So we kicked things off with Alexandria's boldly named 'Yo Daddy's' turkey burger. And listen — she had me at cheese-stuffed patty. Pepper jack and cheddar melted inside the meat? Yeah… I was locked in before the first chew. Now the Mexican street corn? That was… an interesting twist. It reminded me of a mix between potato salad and macaroni salad — unexpected, but not mad at it. Honestly, with ingredients like Cajun seasoning, sour cream, chili powder, mayo, and cilantro? That sounds like a whole flavor function I'd wanna keep pulling up to. Here's where Alexandria kinda lost me though — the presentation. What she showed us when explaining her dish vs. what she actually plated for the girls had me like… girl, now you know. It was giving was Easy-Bake oven tease. No shade. The lettuce was just too big under the bun — like baby, where is the meat? I've never been a fan of the toppings outshining the patty, but you know what? We ball. Malicia and Stacie took their bites after a little pre-game analysis and some light shade (mostly from Malicia — but honestly, a little shade just makes it more fun). Both ladies tried the burger and gave Alexandria her props— the seasonings were hittin'. Malicia gave it a 7 and even threw a lil' nod to the corn, while Stacie gave it an 8. That put Alexandria at a solid 15 points to start. Next up — Malicia's turkey burger. Now Malicia? Came in swinging. She was talkin' big from the jump — already claiming victory and letting it be known that her turkey burger was not one to play with. She walked us through her prep: seasoned her patties the night before with red onions, salt, pepper, and garlic powder and letting it marinate overnight to really lock in that juicy, flavorful vibe we're always chasing over here at Cocoa Butter. Because one thing about us? We're gonna season our food, baby. And if you don't? Best believe we will talk about you. Respectfully. Something that did stick out — and had me cracking up — was how Malicia pronounced 'lettuce.' Sis said, 'I have my le-tters,' and proudly threw in her American cheese, baby. Pronunciation aside, the turkey burger actually looked good, and she topped that thang off with some bacon too. A classic move. She definitely stood out, not just with flavor but with presentation — clearly into visual aesthetics. She had the mayo and ketchup on the side in case you needed a little dip with your bite, plus a bit of garnish to give the meal that extra 'oomf.' We love a little flair! Now, I don't know where Malicia is from exactly, but that accent screams New York. And as a native myself, I can confirm: we are very competitive and take our passions (and being on top) very seriously. When the ladies bit into Malicia's turkey burger, you could see they were impressed. Alexandria even called the plating 'well thought out.' They had no shade for the burger — at least not immediately. Alexandria eventually admitted the meat was a bit dry, while Stacie wanted more of a kick, like a 'hot pepper sauce from Trinidad.' Still, both were satisfied. Stacie gave it a 10, and Alexandria scored it a 7.2, saying it's hard to perfect a turkey burger — which, facts. That puts Malicia in the lead with a strong 17.2 points. Now it's our sweet, humble queen Stacie's turn. And baby… sometimes the underdog is the underdog for a reason. Stacie whipped up a Caribbean and French-inspired turkey burger. We're talking a brioche bun, Jamaican curry mixed into the meat, butter lettuce, grilled onions, Gruyère cheese, and an aioli with Bertie's hot pepper for that island spice she was talking about earlier. But here's the kicker: Stacie did not try all the ingredients together beforehand. So even she didn't know what her burger tasted like. Stacie… how you come to the competition and ain't even sample your own submission? Lord, let us pray. She said a lot of love went into the meal — and I believe her — but unfortunately, the love didn't translate to her opponents. Visually, the burger looked solid to both Malicia and Alexandria. But after the first bite? Whew. Downhill. Malicia said the burger 'wasn't seasoned the greatest,' and Alexandria just straight up said, 'It's not for me.' Actually, she went off, saying the meat was 'musty,' 'street-like,' and compared it to 'raccoon meat.' Yeah… she took it there. Malicia tried to soften the blow by saying the grilled onions were good, bless her. Final scores? Malicia gave it a 5.5, wanting more flavor. Alexandria gave it a 7, hoping for some classic fixings like tomato or lettuce to balance out the patty. That leaves Stacie with a 12.5. BUT — plot twist. The competition isn't over yet. Because who walks in? None other than Miss Quad, honey. And she didn't come alone — she brought her man, King, to sample the turkey burgers too. King immediately lets us know that Quad makes burgers all the time, so he knows what a real one is supposed to taste like. First up was Alexandria's burger. Quad was already unimpressed visually, calling it unappetizing and holding up the warm tomato and that big ol' bib lettuce like, 'What is this?' She also pointed out that the bun looked tough. After taking a bite, Quad said it wasn't that bad… but King followed up with, 'It's not good either.' Oop. Then Quad hit us with the real concern: Was this even cooked all the way? Camera zooms in on the pink. The room gets quiet. They gave Alexandria a 5. (Also, Quad whispered another score to King off-camera, so… we may need to follow up next time she's in the studio.) Next up: Stacie's burger. Quad came in with facts — you gotta feed folks through the eyes — and unfortunately, this burger wasn't giving what it needed to give. Same critique: not 'appetizing.' They took one bite… and spit that baby food out immediately. Quad said the meat tasted like it was 'soaked in onion juice.' Yikes. Stacie got a 3. Finally — Malicia's plate. Quad's face lit up. It looked good. She loved the thoughtful touch of the mayo and ketchup on the side. Her only critique? Malicia used two bottom buns (and no, not those kinds of buns). But outside of that, both Quad and King were satisfied. They gave her a solid 7 — sealing the win. If you enjoyed this little commentary, you might as well see how it all played out below. Go ahead and click below — and let us know if you agree with Miss Quad.
