Pool owners stock up on supplies before diving into summer
With Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer, behind us, people are stocking up on the things they need to open their swimming pools for the season.
Despite a wet spring, the store manager at Colley's Pools and Spas, Michele Ericson, said people are still coming in droves to make sure their pools are ready.

She said they've had no issues with getting a steady supply of chemicals and necessities.
'Everything is coming in fully stocked, from chemicals to toys, heaters, pools, we're ready to meet everybody's needs,' said Ericson. 'Things have been pretty consistent. We have not seen any big increases in our chemicals, and actually some things have come down in price.'

Once you get that pool cover off, you'll want to start testing your water.
Colley's does free testing if you bring in a sample, and will help guide you step by step so that your pool is good to go.
